A really annoying ailment for me is a recurring eardrum perforation issue. It's like you lose audio depth perception, if that makes any sense. It's a challenge to keep myself from trying to "unplug" it, which just risks making it worse.

Two Questions for you guys:

1.) Does anyone have a slingbox? I'm interested in it, but I'm not sure how it would work in my dorm with bad internet.


2.) Any of you guys have chronic neck pain that doesn't go away? Any tips on relieving the pain would be greatly appreciated. My neck has been really uncomfortable for a few weeks.

Anyone ever have a Pinched Nerve before? What can I do to relieve it?

I think I have one in my Lower Neck, Upper back area. As I've been very stiff in my neck, shoulder, back movements; and when I sit down to rest I get this weird tingly sensation running down my spine.

I've been trying to maintain textbook perfect posture the past few days, head up, shoulders back, no hunching... and it's sort of calmed down but I still am getting the weird tingly feelings.

I think It's time I need to buy a new mattress, mines is completely worn out and probably just terrible for me at this point. Along with a new pillow...

Mattress's can be expensive as hell though, you could try a mattress topper first to see if that helps. I've been using one for about 3 years and it helps, somewhat. I still have chronic back pain, but it's not ridiculous like it used to be. Damn I wish I had unlimited resources, I'd get a tempurpedic in a heartbeat. There's a mattress/furniture store 1/4 mile from my apartment that constantly taunts me.

Oh yeah I know they can get up there.

There's actually a place by me selling some decent Twin sized ones for decent prices $150-$200 might jump on that, and grab a Memory Foam pillow; and new sheets. Just to see if that helps my Back, neck issue.

My current mattress has to be murder for your spine.. It's literally rock solid, and the springs are ripping through the fabric in some places... I actually have been sleeping on my stomach and sides which is probably the root cause of the nerve issues... I think I am better off sleeping on the floor than on this Bed.

For pinch nerves, I was able to cure them within days by getting massages and taking anti-inflammatory meds.

Unless you'll be taking a drug test in the next week or so (No idea what the half-life is and it probably depends on the specific drug), you probably don't have to be worried. I'd need a bit more info about the product and what they found though.

1. No clue

2. Heating pad will probably help. Where exactly is the pain? Is it worse when you wake up in the morning? Perhaps you need new pillows.
