All this sub talk has me wanting Subway. I would go to this local (yeah, I know, Dayman) place called MSM and get a sub there, but I'm not feeling all that well. Place is fantastic and the subs are good size. A bit of a wait for them though.

I get the Oreo cheesecake blizzard every time I go to Dairy Queen. It's delicious.

For you guys that work/have worked fast food, is it normal to like not ever have an appetite? I started working at Hardee's earlier in the summer and I haven't been eating normal since. I don't know if it's because I'm around all that greasy food most of the day or what, but I'm rarely hungry and nothing sounds appetizing. I've even lost ten pounds, and I'm starting to think this isn't healthy.

I worked at Sonic for quite a few years. Not a big fan of the food now (which really goes for fast food in general), but I ate it a ton back then. Basically lived off their food at one point.

I think I stopped eating at Burger King for about 4 or 5 years after I quit the job I had there in high school.

I appreciated Ice Cream even more after working at Carvel for a bit, got to try basically everything which I wouldn't have done before. At actual fast food yeah I imagine I'd never eat there for awhile

The only thing I can eat from Wendy's is their chicken sandwiches, everything else I ate so much while working there my sophomore year I just don't see their burgers etc. as appetizing.

I don't think there's much that could make me lose my love for ice cream. Lol

But, I didn't eat a lot of Hardee's before I got the job. I'm sure that I'll stay away from it for a while after I quit though. I can't say there's much I like about working fast food.

The BK we've got around my area is pretty gross, stopped eating BK in general because of that. I agree with you guys though, the chicken fries were about the only thing I liked. I didn't even know they got rid of those.

I love ice cream especially the home made variety. We just got ourselves an automated ice cream making machine and my parents made a West Indian style custard ice cream.

DAMN did that just hit the spot! I can't wait to have it again.

So Saturday I finish mowing the lawn. I'm ready to sit back and relax w/ a beer and watch the U.S. Open. Wife gets home with son and they both end up laying down for a nap.

About 30 minutes after they lay down, I see someone walking on my porch. This person opens the glass door to my house and picks their head in and just stares at me for a second. I'm like "Who the hell is this black lady?"

Turns out being the adopted 12-year-old autistic son of the pastor @ my wife's church. He just walks right in, walks to the back bedroom where my wife is sleeping, half naked. For some reason, he runs back there and just starts stroking her hair. Then, he goes into the nursery and starts stroking my son's head. Meanwhile, his 12 year-old sister is asking me when Tyson will wake so she can play with him.

I couldn't get him out to save my life. If he would've made it to my man cave, I wouldn't have been able to get him out. He went through my fridge, took my Coke I just bought, and would not leave. Finally my wife cons him outside where his father and sister are waiting in the car.

15 minutes later, he's back. He has ran away from home, and I mean ran. He's a chubby little kid and he's huffing and puffing from the run. He barges in like he lives there this time. He then proceeds to sit in my recliner and watch golf while my wife and I were trying to make sense of wtf just happened the first time.

His mother had to come get him this time.

Lesson of the day, we keep our front door shut and locked at all times now.

I go to church Sunday for father's day and the pastor just has an uneasiness about him! Trying to act like his children didn't commit not one but 2 breaking and entering crimes!

Sheesh, did the parents even offer an apology or explanation for the kids behavior? Sounds like he needs better supervision.
