Just pull up and get your food. They bring it out to you. I tip depending on the weather.

You'd probably have to get out the car to pull the waitress in once you knock her out.

      If that's what you're wondering.

While reading it with those quotations, all I could think of was Matt Foley, motivational speaker.

Edit: Wait no, it's the one where Farley is the commentator on a news program.

I've had the same feeling. I looked at mine not too long ago, while not happy, just relieved that I didn't fail. The thing I hate is dealing with my mom basically complaining about me to do better and get perfect on everything. It's annoying, because it's losing the motivational aspect and more over-pushing me(which is something she hates when my dad would over-push her on exercising.)

Has anyone ever bought a radar detector for their cars before? Best Buy has one on sale as a Deal of the Day, and although I'm probably not going to buy one, I was curious as to what people thought of them (I mean this as much on a technical level as I do on a moral level).

It just seems strange that these are legal or promoted in any way. Reviewers basically saying that they're able to speed except when they're not by police is a strange concept (not that it always works, but the point remains), considering the speed limit law is in place for a good reason.

However, I was thinking maybe this would be a good gift for my brother-in-law who lives in the middle of nowhere in Bakersfield and is a long stretch of road that's set at 50 MPH. You can easily go 90 MPH if you need to, but you don't for respect of the law and fear of the men in blue. I wonder if this is a good reason for him to have one, or if anybody can think of other benefits to having them?

Better yet, if you do get pulled over, what do officers and patrolmen think about this? I know they're legal except in Virginia/DC, but would they have anything to mention to you or in court if you have one in your vehicle and are ticketed for speeding?

And on a similar tangent, does this ultimately kind of just work as police car radar? Do cop cars always automatically have their radar turned on so that it kind of just tells you they're nearby at all times, even if they're not getting hits off the side of the road?
I really don't see the point of radar detectors. If you going to speed, speed. With or without one, you still take the same risk of getting caught. IMO having a radar detector just makes it worst, because then cops will think you are purposely trying to speed and you are a chronic speeder. Where as if you didn't have one, you could say you didn't know you were speeding and would be given the benefit of the doubt, sometimes.

So that was really good. And the 2 bucks extra for chili cheese fries was a decision that movies will be made about someday.

Also really easy. Order online, pull into the parking space, wait.

Maybe I don't know how they work, but how does a radar detector not lower your risk of getting caught? If it works one time it has paid for itself.

The signal from a radar detector gets picked up by the police radar detector and they can trace your signal directly to you. Might as well drive around with a huge sign on your car saying hey look at me, I'm speeding.

So it is like playing with fire, you see them, but they see you too at the exact same time.

It wasn't too bad. More than anything, it's long.......

I scored a 161 in both the verbal and math sections (with the writing sections yet to be scored). Last year, that would have put me in the upper 80s percentile with the verbal and the lower 80s in the math, so I should be good (the program recommended being in the 70th-percentile or higher). Ironically, it was the math test that really mattered most for my program, yet I evidently did better on the verbal section (which I figured I would do worse on).

Apparently the one I linked to has things that you can turn off so you're not visible to them.

I guess the problem is that it doesn't pick up radar detectors, but radar detector hits. So if you're the only one on the road and it goes off, chances are they hit you. It's already too late.

But if you have even just a few other cars around you and the thing has a two mile radius, I think that's a pretty good thing for you to want to know about. I mean it's not a matter of going 100 MPH, but you want to go 78 MPH in a 65 MPH zone and you don't want some prick in a speed trap to get you, that's good enough for me.

What about "Speed detected by aircraft" areas, though? Hmm...

I pulled the trigger. But I was on my phone, and I didn't see an option for chili cheese fries.
