If I had unlimited data I would say that, but I would get such a high cell phone bill if I used that. Most of my usage would come in the car.

You can sync the songs to your phone over wifi at home and not have to actually stream while on 3G. It looks like with the new pricing that you can now stream any song for free to you phone, but you cannot sync and there will be ads. The $10 a month is well worth it to me to have songs synced and not have to deal with ads. It's so freaking cool to be able to be playing DJ in the car with friends and pretty much be able to play any song they request. The good thing about syncing though is no load times.

This Spotify thing... I was gonna check it out and see what the buzz is about, then it asked me to Sign Up & my inner old man gave up instantly. I'll just ask the experts, what sort of genres are we looking at here? Is this thing mostly radio acceptable mainstream style music, or does it reach the extremes? I mean extreme extreme, like gurgles and pig squeals (don't judge).

I haven't ran into many artist that aren't on there. Every band I've cared about has had the album available release day.

There is also a web app - https://play.spotify.com/discover
So you can get most of the same features on any PC or if your work doesn't allow you to download it.

Other tips and tricks
www.equalify.com - embedded equalizer (for the PC)
Built in apps such as "TuneWiki". Lyrics to the song scroll on the screen. Also "Tunigo". Playlist for anything you can think of. I jam to 90s playlist a lot. You can also find random playlist people have created and follow it (and sync to your phone too).

I promise I am not a paid advertiser. I am jaded though because I've been subscribing since late 2010. I probably spend 5 times what I would otherwise on music per year. Don't hate, but I've been digging this Lorde chick. I wouldn't pay $1 for her album, but she has made at least a few cents off how many times I've listened to it on Spotify.

Yeah man, I listen to some pretty obscure stuff and I pretty much never have a problem finding at least some content. It's not always every album but there usually some stuff there.

I had a Rdio free subscription and I couldn't find nearly as much as on Spotify. It's definitely the way to go.

**** does kill your data though over 3G. I was looking into hotspots or portable wifi devices to offset it but I gave up. It would be essential (or an unlimited data plan) for mobile streaming. On computer though, it's perfect at $0.

Also, totally bout to spin some Conjunctive now. Let the growls wash over you!

Guys I have a question….

I've been in a relationship for a year and a half, and I don't really know if it's over. Is there a point in a long relationship where you can sway well that's over and move on? It has been bad for a month or two and we rarely seem to not fight about something. Granted the fights are about stupid stuff, but fights are fights.

I don't know when to actually try to keep going or quit and move on because this was the first time I've dated anyone for nearly this long.

I don't mean to discourage you from trying to keep fighting if that's what you feel is right to do or what you want to do.
