I'm pretty sure it's a proven fact that IPAs are horrendous. If not, then it's a law while brewing them to make them taste as bad as possible while still being legal.

I don't care what anyone says about me, if I have my choice of beer I'm choosing a Budweiser 10 times out of 10.

There are definitely better lagers to be had. For example, my go-to lager/pilsner is Scrimshaw Pilsner. If you want me to suggest some to you, don't hesitate to ask. Also, check out the Beer Thread in the Neighborhood a few threads down from this one. If you have the choice to have a (way) better version of something you like, you should at least try it.

yeah, i'm not a fan of IPAs either. IPAs are too bitter for my taste so i stay away from them. i'd rather have a bud light and i can't stand bud light. living in st. louis, i get a lot of **** for that opinion. oh well.

i love dark beers though; moose drool and smithwick's are damn tasty.

It actually is a proven fact that 27 out of the top 100 beers on the face of the earth right now are IPAs.

In fact, the three very best are all currently IPAs:

That list is opinion. Anyways, you know I'm just messing with you guys. Taste is subjective, far be it from me (and I have some pretty random food tastes that have been documented here in other posts) to make fun of what someone likes seriously.

Just not my cup of tea (and that's not just IPAs, that extends pretty much to most ales in general.)

That list is opinion.

The opinions of thousands of the most seasoned beer drinkers on the planet. Having one of your beers in the top 100 list on BA is a HUGE deal and holding the number one spot at any given time is the highest possible honor you can get.

There was a teacher at my high school that would walk up to sleeping students and proceed to blow an air horn right next to them. I never had him as a teacher but did have a class or two near his and you would hear the horn go off and the entire class laugh.

Lol, we had a teacher almost get decked because he went up to a kid and dropped a heavy book on the desk beside him as hard as he could while he was sleeping.

Same here. I barely drink once or twice a month anyway, though.
