I would say yes/no. It means they want to learn more, so that's obviously a good sign...but also that they weren't completely 'sold' after an interview.

But I guess they see enough potential that they are calling to confirm.

Here, checking references is mandatory. If we just interviewed you and we started checking references we're highly interested. Otherwise you sit in a pile until we interview all possible candidates then we chose the few that fit most and start checking references.

Our pranks were tame. Chained the doors shut. Parked on the front lawn. Etc. The best "prank" I remember from school was my friend basically walked up on a girl in math class with an erection. I did not know about this until college.

The way I see it the people who post the "Oh my life is so great" posts are just doing it to get affirmation and confirmation from the interwebz to make themselves feel better about their lives. Typically its housewives, single girls, and drunk men.

Just hit this burrito spot that opened up about a month or two ago. There's one in town but I never go there, this new one is right down the street. I had to go a little out of the way to go to Moe's whenever I wanted to satisfy my burrito craving so I had to check it out.

Well, after that beast of a burrito, I'd say I found a pretty sweet spot to hit up. Holy sweet jeebus... This one had rice, black beans, steak, mushroom, pepper jack cheese, pico, sherry cured onion, cilantro, corn salsa, and a sherry vinaigrette. $8.25 well spent man.
