You guys are talking about Tecmo Super Bowl, not Tecmo Bowl. The Bears were really, really good on Tecmo Bowl. Not so much on Tecmo Super Bowl.

Kev - you don't have to pay for anti-virus. I use Avira. I know others use Avast. Install one of those and uninstall Norton so it doesn't keep reminding you that your subscription is expired.

Hey now, Neal Anderson is almost unstoppable on Tecmo Super Bowl. I also do a lot of damage with Mike Singletary. I'm actually undefeated on Tecmo Super Bowl with the Bears against my friends in the bi-weekly 3AM post bar tournaments we have.

I don't think I'm old enough to have really ever enjoyed Tecmo Bowl.

I played it on the NES, but I was born in '89 so little kid me was terrible at the game and played other popular NES games instead.

I didn't really get into football games until I got my PS1 and GameDay '98 for Christmas. I think I was 7 at the time. I still wasn't very good and mostly played with The Redskins and Dolphins and used maybe 4-5 plays.

Now, I still enjoy Madden and NCAA, but I just don't care for it on the same level as I did even 5 years ago. I don't get anywhere near as much enjoyment out of it and it feels more like a chore sometimes, rather than actual entertainment. It's too much work for me to constantly be adjusting sliders and settings to have fun with it. When I was a kid I didn't care.

I just realized my subscription to Norton Antivirus is over in 17 days. Do people still pay for antivirus software or is there any free software out there that does the job?

I have McAffee for free through Cox high speed Internet.

I'm not hip enough to have ever played Tecmo Bowl, though. First NFL game I played was NFL Quarterback Club. #whomp

SimCity. I've heard nothing but good things about it, whereas I've only heard mixed review of Tomb Raider.

Odd, I've heard the opposite, although SimCity is only getting dinged for its need for an internet connection. My worry is that the servers are going to die a hard death on Tuesday then I've got like 4 days to not play it while EA fixes them. Tomb Raider doesn't have such a requirement.

I'm going to take a look at MS when I get home. Avira has really gotten annoying with their popup ads to buy the full version in the past few months.

I really need a vacation from work right now.

I'm just burned out on it right now and I'm tired of driving 45m-1 hr each way every day. I'm really all ready looking for something closer to home, but I would be looking at around a 7k/yr pay cut.

If I clear MEPS finally It won't even matter to me. I want to be closer to my friends and family for the remainder of my stay here.

I used to be firmly against M$ for anything aside from the OS itself. Microsoft security essentials really changed my mind about them on the antivirus front, it's fantastic.

Most antivirus programs (Norton and the other big ones) are basically just bloatware at this point and avoid those at all costs.

As for Tecmo Bowl, I remember playing that game way back in the day and it was a pretty fun game. Damn Bo Jackson was impossible to stop!

I hate shaving period, I can pretty much shave the sides of my face smoothly, and my neck with a razor. However it's impossible for me to closely shave the rounded area of my chin. It's too rough, and it feels like I'm going to just rip the skin right off my chin with the razor if I apply any pressure. So I have to go back and do that area with the Electric.. really annoying.

I never felt like I got a good shave when I had an electric (and actually shaved every day). That thing just collected dust after I bought it. What a waste of money.

Unless you guys are black, I don't wanna hear any complaints about shaving. ****'s like trying to shave on concrete.

It's the freaking worst. Have to find certain razors, or use clippers, certain shaving cream, certain aftershave. I just sport the Harden and call it a day.
