I actually really liked Cars. I thought it was really good. Cars 2 was okay but not great, still a decent watch though.

Never understood the point of complaining about movies. It's not like you're being forced to watch.

Same thing applies to music, TV, games, etc. Why waste your time complaining about something that's not going to affect you? You don't have better things to do?

Not certain, but I doubt you're finding a shirt w/ 'Mater on the front in the men's section @ Wal-mart, but maybe I'm old fashioned.

Then again, my lunch box consist of a grocery bag, not a metal box with all the cast of characters on the front.

Edit: Not trying to ruffle feathers here, but Pixar movies for the most part (entirely?) are kid first movies.

Never said the first part, dont know where thats coming from. And I agree they are geared toward children. We dont disagree on that. Saying they dont target my demo as a counter to me not particularly liking the film is asinine.

Pixar's movies arent exclusively for children. Point blank. There is a reason why parents can stand those films. But this is still not my point. I dont think the Cars franchise is Pixar's best work. Its just stale and mediocre relative to their other stuff. But compared to some other studios its alright.

This is a forum, Where people share their ideas and thoughts on various things. Complaining about complaining is even more remarkable imo.

To add to that they do add more "grown up" things here and there in their movies because they realize parents take their kids to see the movies. So the adults get a few chuckles in as well.

Pixar needs to let the Cars thing die. Personifying vehicles isnt working.

Assuming you are older than 8, personifying any inanimate object the way they do is not geared to ppl like you.

And I'm not saying they are kid only, I'm saying they are kid first. Family second, and others lastly. I know there are few grown up themes added, but they're not going after 18 - 35 year old single men and women.

Saying it's not Pixar's best work is one thing, saying the idea needs to die is another. Last Pixar movie I have seen was one of the Toy Story movies, so I'm not defending Cars b/c I like it. But c'mon man.

Of all that things that you and I could disagree on... it's ****ing Cars!
