I felt like that with '06-'07 Duke. Combination of me being sad about JJ not being there anymore and our best player (McRoberts) being an overall douche.

JJ was cocky and backed it up. McRoberts was a whiny douche who would scream at his teammates on a regular basis for making mistakes. Horrible teammate.

I bought a roll of "certs" breathe mints from the store and I've ate almost all of them in 15 minutes. I know they aren't candy, but damn they taste good.

I bought 'em because I'm tired of chewing gum to keep my breathe fresher when out with the lady.. what a waste.

I'm sure she doesn't give a **** anyways. It's not like I'm eating onions all the time or I don't brush my teeth.

Honestly, normally I try not to get too overly upset, but my teams have had really tough luck of late (not including United and Bayern). The Rockies and Twins were both under .500 last season and don't look to be much better this year. The Eagles were awful, but I sense some good things on the horizon. The Bulls are all right, but probably not going to win the title this season. UNI football was a disappointment as was basketball. Iowa football couldn't even make a bowl game and basketball was soooo close, yet so far away (who knows, they could still sneak in, but I doubt it.). So, these past few years have been rough. Heck, the only one of my teams (again, outside of United and Bayern) that has won a championship is the Bulls and that's when I was 5... Not that it's a big deal as I would never jump ship, but it does get a touch frustrating at times.

I always felt really bad for my grandfather, who was a huge Cubs fan. Dude lived 87 years and never once got to see them win the series.

I think I've had a pack of mints in my car since I was 16. Rarely have bad breath, it just has always been a habit of mine.
