Well **** day for me in the sports world. Kentucky likely done for the season, after their uninspiring game against Vandy, and the U.S is out of the WBC. Today blows....

Please allow me to vent for a second.

I try not to complain because I have seen all of my favorite teams win at least one championship in my lifetime, but it's been a really **** year for me as far as sports go. My interest has been at an all time low and I only watch games involving my favorite teams.

The Bucs showed some signs of improvement, but I've been saying that for a few years. I think we may finally have something working. The only problem is we play in the NFC South. We had some good free agency pickups, but on a team that needs all the help on defense it can get, we let a few guys go who were coming on strong as pass rushers in the NFL. It can't be said enough, solid pass rushers on the DL are a premium in the NFL. I'm looking forward to seeing the offense in year two.. very impressive last year.

Auburn football just... I don't even ****ing know, man. I'm tired of ****ing talking about it. I'm tired of hearing "It's karma"... no you ignorant mother****ing Alabama fans, It's not *** **** karma.. It's a complete cluster**** with communication and chemistry between a coaching staff that was turned upside down in the off season.. and trying to run an offensive system that you haven't recruited for in over 4 years. We'll see with Gus and Rhett running that system again.

Auburn basketball has traditionally sucked except for a few stretches. The last good period was from the late 90s into the early 2000s with a few sweet sixteen appearances and within a bucket of knocking off the Carmelo Anthony led Syracuse team that eventually won the championship. I still follow and still enjoy watching and supporting, but man is it ugly.

Auburn baseball has actually been really good recently, but most South Eastern teams are really good in baseball. I don't follow closely, but I do check scores and read the news. I just can't catch the games because of how they are or are not televised or broadcasted on the radio.

The Lakers.. I won't even complain too much here. I've been spoiled with seeing good teams since I was a little kid. I will say, there's a post somewhere somehow of me saying pre season that it wouldn't work immediately, even before Mike Brown was fired. I stated that I've seen it before with Gary Payton and Karl Malone and it just doesn't work like that in LA, especially not in one season. The bitches at work don't even talk to me about it because I called it before the season started. I wasn't even that thrilled with the Howard pickup.

Anyways.. since JJ decided to complain about his Duke blue devils, who are a relevant basketball team, I thought I would give some perspective from a fan who's had a really terrible year of sports watching..

I wouldn't even want to watch Kentucky play in the NIT. Maybe that makes me look stupid, but I wouldn't watch them.

I think I've watched more NFL than anything this past year..

It was a very entertaining year, even with a team on the outside looking in at the playoffs. I'm just saying it's been a bad year to watch with no one to root for in any significant position to win anything.

I watched probably the least amount of NFL this past season then I ever have previously. Probably cause after the Saints game I would do my homework and the MNF/TNF games were always just awful so I never bothered.

Yea, I can take losing, but man this team, is just forgettable. I watched every game of the 08-09 NIT bound Kentucky team, Patterson and Meeks played out of their mind, and just had a sorry cast of players around them.

This years team is just like I said forgettable. Poythress can just go, Harrow can get the hell on too.

This years team is just like I said forgettable. Poythress can just go, Harrow can get the hell on too.

I felt like that with '06-'07 Duke. Combination of me being sad about JJ not being there anymore and our best player (McRoberts) being an overall douche.
