As far as DST goes... I'd move to Hawaii or Arizona just to avoid it.

Well, when I'm in power, everyone will be under it, so enjoy the south pole! And you wouldn't really need it in Hawai'i. They are in the tropics so days are of similar length all year round. And in Alaska, the lengths of days vary so much throughout the year, the one hour doesn't help when it should and you don't need it in the middle of summer in most of Alaska.

Like I said, if daylight savings was standard, we'd be better off. Sunset is as early as 4:30 here in the middle of winter which is insane. Can't imagine how bad it is up the coast in Maine or into Canada. Pushing sunrise back to around 8 instead of 7 in winter sounds fine to me. I don't know many people that they'd rather it be daylight when they are getting ready for work vs. daylight when they are done with work.

I'm finally on the last episode of Season 5 of Sons of Anarchy. Now not only am I going to have to wait until the new season starts (and then follow along week by week instead of whenever I want), but I'm also going to have to find something new to watch.

My parents now have AP, Netflix, and Hulu Plus. Yet I still can't make a decision on what to watch. I still am only halfway through Battlestar season 1, great show but its hard for those hour long dramas to suck me in. Need to find a new comedy
