Are you talking about a place such as a Chinese restaurant where you may have called in an order ? I typically don't tip a lot of those places because I'm going to get the food myself. They aren't waitresses or waiters so they should still be making a normal wage and not relying on the tips. I don't know why I feel that way because I'm a good tipper when I'm out in a bar.

Even if I get the drink myself at the bar, I'll typically leave a dollar and the change (if I'm using cash) on each drink I get. Most bartenders appreciate it because it adds up.

How do we feel about Sonic ? I haven't been there in a few months, but I've always paid with a card and never had any cash to tip. I was involved with a girl that worked there back in my HS days and she made a lot of money just on tips.

Like at Moe's BBQ in downtown B'ham. You go to the counter, place your order, then go sit and wait on them to bring I out to you. I can't recall if the give you your drink at the counter or if they bring it
out with your food. I also don't remember if you refill your own drink or if there's a waitress coming by to check. Either way, is it appropriate to not tip?

Also what about restaurants with drive thru windows? We have a Greek place here and a Fried Fish/Chicken place where you can order at the window. When they give you the receipt it has a place for a tip, do you tip? Because I never have.

I've never tipped at sonic, but 95% of the time I go through he drive thru. The majority of the time when I go to Sonic it's for a milkshake or a peach sweet tea.

I never been to a Sonics. Every place I ever lived never had one within 50 miles or so of me.

Tax refund should be in the next couple of weeks. Most of it is going to bills and fun stuff like that, but I'm setting aside a small portion for "fun." I'm getting Mad Men season 5 and a couple games. My goal is to equal roughly $60 on the games so best bang for the buck is what I'm going for. Help me decide which games:

Hitman Absolution
Hitman HD pack
RDR GOTY
Brutal Legend
Lollipop Chainsaw
Ghostbusters
Dues Ex: Human Revolution

I will also take any suggestions for games not on the list.

As for your games, Deus Ex is fun. I think I must have been the only one that didn't really like RDR. I lost interest shortly after getting to Mexico. *flame suit.gif*

I actually sold my copy. Its a fun game and I would like to play the DLC, but I don't think its the GOAT or anything like that.

Certainly more fun than GTA4.

No way. The only thing bad about GTA4 was man-dates. I fully enjoyed the rest of it.

I couldn't even get through RDR. When I gave it back to the person I borrowed it from, he couldn't understand how I was giving it back to him without finishing it.

Eh. I thought John was a much better protagonist. I liked Liberty City, but disliked everything else other than Brucie and his shenanigans. Its been awhile since I've played it and I still need to play BOGT.

Yea, we were cool until this. I'm one of the RDR fans and judge others who look down upon it.

I tried so many times to give GTAIVa chance. The story was actually pretty good. Gameplay sucked to me. I know missions are going to be the same to an extent, but almost every single mission felt the same in that game.

Everything is weird right now. I've hardly eaten in the last two days. I feel very hungry, but every time I try to eat whatever I'm eating tastes bad and I get so sickened by the idea of finishing it that I throw it out.

I think I'm pregnant.
