[The GIGGAS]

I spent this evening writing a unit testing extension in Unity3D for fun.

I don't even know if GIGGAS would be proud.

The question I would ask you is...what the hell were you doing staying in Oxon Hill?

I grew up around that area(which I know is a rough area and would probably rate it a 1 instead of a 2)that's the last place I would recommend anybody stay at, even just for a night. You would've been better off staying over in VA or DC.

Yeah I never heard of Oxon Hill before. It was only 2 nights though.

Most I ever got for a game @ Gamestop (well, it was Funcoland at the time), was $27 for Battle Tanx Global Assault on N64. I took in a handful of games with no expectations and was pretty blown away.

I was somewhat sad taking the game in, I was 50/50 on actually selling it because I used to play the game with my dad in his basement, hooked up to his exercise speakers with a sub and all that good stuff.

Editors note: I just spent 20 minutes watching Battle Tanx gameplay videos on Youtube for nostalgia sake and now I wanna play again!

I stopped in my old Home Depot store close to home to talk to my friend, ex supervisor who is now an Assistant Manager.

I'm considering returning there for the remainder of my time at home, after I get this military stuff wrapped up. I want to be closer to home for my remaining time and this hour-ish drive to and from work every day is making things difficult on me right now.

There's an opening as their Kitchen & Bath/Appliances Department Supervisor and that's the job I left to come do what I do now, but I explained my situation to him and he talked about bringing me in to train their next DH for that department.

How crazy is it that I've been removed from a big retail company like that for well over a year, but there are people there who respect what I know and did enough to want to get me in to do something like that ?

I actually do miss some of the people I used to work with. I ran into a few of them working in the same department still and it was cool catching up. I do get tired of people asking, "Oh, how do you like your job now?" and "How much do you make?" What does it matter what I make at my current job ? Some people try prying into people's business too much IMO.

Dookie probably didn't even try to hide the fact he was taking a picture. I imagine him snapping it, staring straight at them and just saying, "The **** y'all lookin' at?"

Sales Manager is still here, but he's a cool dude. I worked with him for two years at Home Depot and my first cousin is the chief of police in the City in which he is the Mayor. Yeah I know, he's the Mayor of a City and Sales Manager here. I don't know how he balances it.

Was gonna get married June 15th, but now my fiancee's mom needs 3 months of chemo. Thought she wouldn't need it after the mastectomy, but she does, so she wouldn't be able to go to the church in some village in Finland, where she pretty much forced us to have it because that's where she got married, so wedding is sort of postponed indefinitely now. Kinda delayed this thing for a few years as it is, I was kinda looking forward to it finally happening.
