Since this is a sports site....What are some big sports events(not including something like nba finals,stanley cup finals) happening between June-August?

2012 had summer Olympics, 2014 will have World Cup, but does 2013 have anything remotely special(specifically like any sort of national sports event, like how World Hockey Championships is happening right now for hockey, not really that big of an event, but still fairly big and has countries competing against each other)

There should be a way to search for posts and have the results come up based on how many likes that post got. It would be great to see what my most popular posts have been/would be depressing to see how unpopular my posts are lol.

No, like how we search to find our oldest posts. I'd like to be able to search for our most liked posts. YouTube just puts the most liked posts at the top.

Gold Cup, Confederations Cup, World Cup Qualifiers. Soccer always delivers.

Well if there's a horse vying for the Triple Crown the Belmont Stakes is pretty big as a one day event in June.


Anywho, I'm still depressed over the Leafs loss. I'm not the biggest fan of the team but sheesh, it was like a gut punch.

Two kids make weird seal/walrus sounds to each other and then walk away like nothing happened.


I lost a bet w/ a student. I bet him he couldn't pass all sections of the OGT(state standardized test). He's a country like character, so if I won he'd have to dress up like a stereotypical black person. If he won, I'd have to dress up like a cowboy. Found out yesterday he passed them all. It was the most conflicting feeling I've ever had.

He'll be letting me borrow his boots and cowboy hat....

This is what I love about soccer. The season doesn't really ever end when you factor in friendlies and international fixtures.
