See, normally I do just drink water. But I prefer Gatorade since it has the extra carbs, etc... I always feel like I can keep playing longer when I drink Gatorade rather than water.

I don't drink much of it anymore.

It gives me some fierce heartburn when mixed with activity.

If you really want to stop cramps from happening, drink pedialyte the night before. As big as I am in Prime, I swear by that stuff. It's the stuff of miracles.

I firmly understand if you don't want to got that far, though.

            Gatorade is delicious

But it is basically as bad as soda for your body

I just don't see where you get over priced from. 32 oz for $2, I'm pretty sure that isn't overpriced at all.

That's because you actually find some value in the product. I don't.

I don't know. Perhaps it is. Even if it is all in my head, it works for me, and that's all I care about.

I'm just saying, water offers nothing except for hydration. It's important to be hydrated, but if all you're putting in you is water then you're not helping yourself out at all.

Unless you have an actual medical condition that makes your electrolyte level go way down, hydration is all your body needs. And that came from the mouth of an actual doctor

And this is where I'm coming from. If there was anything I learned in 8th Grade Health class, it was that energy comes primarily from carbohydrates, and protein, along with fats and when engaging on physical activity, carbs are a definite must... Gatorade provides carbohydrates that can be used in short order specifically for immediate use, so when engaging in physical activity, products like Gatorade can be very useful.

And using that logic, soda is just the same. Which goes back to my previous point that Gatorade more or less equals soda
