Well at least the contracts come off the books in two years. Ah well.

On another note I'm glad the NBA draft goes by so fast compared to the NFL. Granted I know its more players but watching it is like a war of attrition.

I think some higher power is trying to tell me something. In the past week and a half, the seasons of my favorite hockey and college baseball team have ended in heartbreaking fashion, I have a bum leg, my garage door broke, and my favorite basketball team has been completely disassembled.

I don't like to think of myself as a journalist because then I have to get all passive aggressive bitchy and develop this sense of superiority over anybody who has a blog. It's in the rulebook or something. And I don't want to be that guy.

Also I don't think behind the scenes technical work like camera or producing is journalism. Maybe camera is visual journalism, I guess.

Actually, the SEC is starting to recognize SB Nation as a credible outlet. The guy that's in charge of LSU's SB affiliate got credentialed for LSU baseball games and the actual SEC Tournament and we (I'm starting to contribute more and more there outside of comments) are working on football games. Godfrey, Kirk, and Hall (edsbs) are doing a great job at changing things

If you have a half-respectable blog who cites and attributes, the media really has no problem with you. Hell, school newspapers are a bigger eyesore than blogs around the SEC, specifically LSU.

I could go into further details, but involves one Clay Travis and I don't think it's wise to get into THAT on a public forum

I guess. Technology has made it easier to have anyone consider themselves a journalist. Copy and paste some stories, upload some pictures and walla.
