I went over to my friend's house and played with a few of his co workers, his dad, and uncle. It was fun. Those old dudes were coming up with some wild stuff. We just payed with $5.00 and played with change.

I was one of the last two standing and the guy asked if I wanted to call it, we both had come away with more than we had started out with (I had the "chip" lead). I didn't care about the money anyways. I just wanted to play and have fun.

My friends and I will do a $5 sit-n-go if we play, but I'm looking for something a little more high stakes, like a .25/.50 or 1/2 NL cash game. The casino is only 45 minutes away, but the players up there are insane.

I've always wanted to play in a casino. I'm 23 and still never have. I'm not the best poker player, but I understand the game pretty well.

I've played with real cash online before, though.

When my a/c broke last year, my apt got up to 103 degrees.

I felt worse for my dog, he just laid around panting all day, and yet he still wanted to play toys. It was a dilemma for me, I wanted him to be happy with toy times, but I didn't want to overheat him

Thankfully it hasn't been that hot. Thank god I wasn't here last year when it was consistently 100+ degrees and humid with no rain for nearly 3 months straight. The one weekend I came up in mid-July last year was the worst.

My personal answer to the sun dress is yoga pants. I'd take yoga pants, one of those stretchy lightweight long sleeve shirts and like a scarf or something over a sun dress any day.

Sun dresses are a decently compelling argument though.

I think I'm more like my old self than I realize, in regards to gaming.

I'm willing to wait for a price drop on a really bad *** SP game, but I'll still get NCAA right around release, even after saying I wasn't going to.

There's very few SP games I'm going to drop $60.00 on. If Bioware released a new Mass Effect or maybe a new Max Payne came out then I would consider. Grand Theft Auto is also an exception to the rule.

I've got games like Skyrim, Minecraft, and State of Decay DL on my XBOX and I never even play them. I need to get back on my PS3 and wrap up the few trophies I'm missing from Sleeping Dogs. That was an awesome game.

It's so much better than any Uncharted. Way more story driven. The mechanics are similar, but much improved. The third person style can get annoying though.

OT,OT: anyone ever had to deal with an absessed(sp) tooth ? I've got an absess that just started bothering me recently. I've got a dentist appointment next week, but it got so bad that I had to actually bust it myself a few minutes ago. Absolutely disgusting and hurt like hell.

Ya about a year ago i had a broken tooth that was completly dead. It ached like crazy so I went to the dentist and they pulled it out. It was one of my back molars and i just have a gap there now, it healed up. For the record i couldn't eat anything solid for 2 days, and the first 8 hours i had to bite down on a gauze pad.

Maybe i misread you but did you really pull out your own tooth?

I tried pulling one of my teeth once because it hurt so bad. I had gotten a filling, but the dentist was suppose to do a root canal. The filling sat on top of the root and it just causes ridiculous pain.

Outside of baseball, babes, and BBQ....summer is ****ing insufferable in almost every single possible way. But there's baseball in spring and playoffs in fall, babes year round, and BBQ can theoretically be done whenever the hell you want, so.....

I feel like to thoroughly be able to enjoy summer, you need to be around some body of water, whether that be a lake or the ocean.

When I wasn't working this much and was a bit younger, I absolutely loved summer. I would ask for my hours to be cut during July and August so I could spend more time around the lake house.

Story time [GMSS]

A few years ago, my friends and I were out cruising on the boat and doing a little wakeboarding and we cut through this more narrow portion of the lake and someone had a buoy floating out away from their dock. My friend was boarding and he jumps over their buoy and we come back through again and they were waiving us down (thought they were mad). Turns out they had passed our dock a few times and just wanted to say hey. We drank a few beers and chilled and we were ready to split until one of the guy's there had his girlfriend show up with all of her hot friends.

We ended up partying with them the rest of the night.

The lake house is off the main body of water and isn't patrolled that heavily. Stuff like that doesn't happen as much as it used to, but the random cool encounter with random people does still occur. Technically, It's illegal to even have alcoholic drinks on your own boat dock. They don't really enforce stuff like that, though. I can't count the summer days spent floating on a life jacket with a captain and coke held out of the water.

Now it's rare that I can even get the free time to ride up and spend the night

I may call a few people and ride up tonight with my XBOX. I haven't got to play any user v user NCAA yet except an online match.
