Re: Off Topic 2013
How popular is Milos ? It may just be a southern chain too. Fan-****ing-tastic food. Plenty of bad cholesterol to go around there.
Since 1946 Milos Hamburgers has been serving up fast fresh burgers smothered in our original sauce, served with fried pies, milkshakes and seasoned fries.
Blasphemy!
Dr. Pepper and Sweet Tea are my go to, but I usually choose tea at Chic Fil A.'
edit: appears Milos is only in Alabama.Comment

No Sonics in Vermont either. But then again Vermont is anti everything.......If it isn't a small family owned business, Vermont don't want it. That is what it seems like anyway. So many national chain stores and fast food places not here.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
Man I had a Milos Double Cheeseburger and large tea yesterday.
I felt like I was close to dying afterwards, but it was worth it.
I think Jacks is another Alabama chain that's pretty good. It's nowhere near on the level of Milo's and that sauce and tea, but it's solid for breakfast.Comment

Re: Off Topic 2013
Fast food chains that are rare around here include, but are not limited to:
Steak 'n Shake
Chick Fil A- there's one in DM and one in Cedar Rapids that I know of, but other than that I don't know of any in Iowa.
In 'n Out Burger- I've never seen one of those
Carl's Jr.- Okay, Hardee's is the same thing... but still.
Five Guys
There are more. I just can't think of them right nowMLB: Minnesota Twins
NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
NBA: Chicago Bulls, Minnesota Timberwolves
European Football: Manchester United, Brighton & Hove Albion
NCAA: UNI Panthers, Iowa Hawkeyes

We're having a Chick-fil-A open up on August 1st, and if you're on of the first 100 customers, they'll give you free food once a week for a year. Seriously considering camping out.Comment
