Are there Sonics everywhere or is that more of a southern thing? Either way, that's the only lesser known fast food chain we have.

Well... had. It went out of business in like a year. Maybe less.

They are everywhere, but most concentrated in the South. I think only 7 states don't have Sonic.

How popular is Milos ? It may just be a southern chain too. Fan-****ing-tastic food. Plenty of bad cholesterol to go around there.

Since 1946 Milos Hamburgers has been serving up fast fresh burgers smothered in our original sauce, served with fried pies, milkshakes and seasoned fries.

        Blasphemy!

Dr. Pepper and Sweet Tea are my go to, but I usually choose tea at Chic Fil A.'

edit: appears Milos is only in Alabama.

You should consider becoming a franchisee. Just imagine being the only Sonic in Rhode Island! People would drive hundreds of feet from all corners of the state to visit your location.

No Sonics in Vermont either. But then again Vermont is anti everything.......If it isn't a small family owned business, Vermont don't want it. That is what it seems like anyway. So many national chain stores and fast food places not here.

I absolutely love Milo's. You should consider yourself lucky because they are basically only in the Birmingham Metro area now. There was one in Mobile, AL when I lived there. However, after a quick Google search it is now closed.

You can, however, find Milo's Sweet Tea sold in pretty much every Southern State. And boy let me tell you..... Ohhhhhh Weeeee that's some good stuff, right there.

Man I had a Milos Double Cheeseburger and large tea yesterday.

I felt like I was close to dying afterwards, but it was worth it.

I think Jacks is another Alabama chain that's pretty good. It's nowhere near on the level of Milo's and that sauce and tea, but it's solid for breakfast.

Fast food chains that are rare around here include, but are not limited to:

                      Steak 'n Shake
Chick Fil A- there's one in DM and one in Cedar Rapids that I know of, but other than that I don't know of any in Iowa.
In 'n Out Burger- I've never seen one of those
Carl's Jr.- Okay, Hardee's is the same thing... but still.
                      Five Guys

There are more. I just can't think of them right now

Ate a large philly cheese steak with some texas cheese fries with a large pitcher of lemonade. You guys can keep your tea.

                          Lemonade.. meh.

Just makes me more thirsty and having to eat a few acid reducers afterwards.

Keep the tea, or mix it with the lemonade

Tons of Steak n' Shakes around here. Their frisco melts are delicious.

We're having a Chick-fil-A open up on August 1st, and if you're on of the first 100 customers, they'll give you free food once a week for a year. Seriously considering camping out.
