Didn't realize MiLB teams play basically every single day for nearly the first two months of the season. This is making my Mud Hens lineup management tricky since everyone is always tired.

Also, I love the team nicknames in the minors

edit: forgot to ask, anyone else play the Show and sim ahead a few years with the OSFM roosters? I have an inordinate amount of pitchers in AAA (league wide) with 100+ mph fastballs and I'm figuring it's due to velocity progression but still thought I'd ask.

They did, through 2012 when they basically swapped AAA teams with the Mets. (Buffalo to Toronto, Las Vegas to the Mets)

This Lord of the Rings game is next on my list to buy, looks like they have some for decent prices (in good condition) at Amazon. It came out in 2000 (the base game, not the expansions to it) and I used to play it with my cousins all the time when I would visit. It's very challenging and quite fun.
