Ok, well as long it was someone you or your dad knew of. Otherwise, $1300 for a month and still not completely fixed? Hell no! I don't even know if my insurance company would cover a rental that long if my car was in the shop for a month.

Yeah a month is way too long, but like I said my dad trusts the guy and has been with him forever. Always good work. This could just be a string of bad luck.
Believe me, I've been counting my blessings the past month. Luckily, I can walk to my one job and my dad was good for rides to my other one. It's been a tough lesson learned.
I don't appreciate getting kicked when I'm down though, Mr. Universe. When I saw the light go on, it was all -__- from there. Lol

I think I have read somewhere before that a CEL is a O2 sensor 90% of the time. A quick free trip to Autozone could answer it for you.Comment

Just ate at Mission BBQ for the first time and man was it good. Pretty cool place too.

We have a winner. That was #1 in the top 5 causes, also including a cracked gas cap or *gulp* faulty catalytic converter, which this could lead to if unchecked.
Mechanic checked the codes for free. Of course the car made me sweat it out as they had to go to a backup diagnostic test thingamajig. It's good to ride until there's an opening next week.

Re: Off Topic 2013
So the phone interview seemed to go well for the job I'm really hoping to get. He is going to set me up to talk to the boss next and already mentioned talking to HR about getting me a flight there for an in-person interview. If the 2nd phone interview goes well, then I think I'm getting somewhere. I had one a few months ago where the guy sounded really interested and mentioned getting me in for an interview and it never happened. We had a bit in common and were able to have a good conversation and I know someone I would be working with so I think I have a lot going in my favor. Here's to hoping. If it works, it'll be first time I say "O-H-I-O" with joy.Comment
