It may be scary in some cases, but I always wonder about the history of the money I have.

Open ended poll: What is the most "forced" rivalry in sports, college or pro? AKA a rivalry that either the league, the fans, or both teams/schools try to make happen, but just isn't there.

The homer in me says Saints-Buccaneers, but Dodgers-Angels is up there, as well as Texas-Texas Tech

Saints-Buccaneers isn't a bad choice. As a Bucs fan, I despise the Saints, but no more than I do any other NFC South team.

I think the Colts/Patriots isn't as big as the media tries to make it out to be, even before Manning left.

Staying in the state of Texas, how about Texas-Texas A&M ? I dated a girl who was a Texas fan and she despised the Aggies, but it wasn't anywhere near on the level as AU - Bammer.

Personally, I don't care about the Lakers - Kings rivalry. I hate the ****ing Kings, but it's hard for me to care about playing a team that hasn't been relevant in a long long time.. it's died in the past few years.

Texas-Aggy is pretty much penis envy rivalry. OU is the schools that matters to Texas, and vice versa. The problem is with Aggy saying that they're Texas' main rival, and not OU.

No its a big deal, the wars that happen at my school over Texas and the Aggies, its the most common conversation, even though they are in separate conferences now, still comes up almost every day. Red Raiders not as much, in fact almost never, but that's probably because Texas fans aren't threatened by Tech.

The only team from the NFC South that I like a little is Carolina and it's because I want to see Cam play well. I'll pull for them in all games not impacting my Bucs. Cam being drafted by Carolina put me in a weird position, but the Buccaneers still come first.

Is LSU-Tulane still considered a rivalry? If so, then that one.

And living in Lubbock, I can attest to Tech-UT being somewhat forced. Tech definitely makes a bigger deal about it than the Longhorns. Tech's biggest rival WAS A&M, but I guess now it's Baylor?

NFL- Maybe Patriots/Bills? I don't really see any animosity between those two.

NBA- Like Jesse said, any of them except Boston-LA. Maybe Chicago-Detroit is a big thing, along with San Antonio-Dallas.

NHL- The only real rivalries I see are among the Original 6.

I hate the Eagles. I dont hate the Skins or Cowboys mostly because they have sucked so much on their own. But when the Eagles fail it warms my heart. I really hate them.

Yeah, just because they played a few times in the playoffs in the 90s doesn't mean they hate each other.
