I've been struggling with reality a bit, lately.

I've been dating this girl since Feb.

She really is awesome, we don't argue, we have a lot of the same interests, etc.

There are seriously nights where we will just chill and play PS3 together and its her idea.

The reality is, here soon I won't be seeing her for a long long time. We will still talk, facetime eventually, etc. I just know the reality is it won't work like that for long. It would turn into more of a friend thing. Lets face it, a relationship can be as good as you want it to be, but if you can't have a physical relationship with someone too, then it will eventually fail.

I know all of this, yet I go along with it and try to enjoy the time I have with the girl. The old me never would have been like this. I would have tried pursuing some other girl at the same time. This time its different and it pisses me off that I care about her like I do. I can't blame it on the Navy because that's the only reason I even met her.

Sorry about dragging the OT Vibe down and being a woman about ****. I just have to say it and its not something I want to talk to anyone else about.

Of course she and I talk about this stuff too to a lesser degree, but both of us seem to be afraid to face reality even though we have to.

There's a lot worse problems to have for sure, but this type of thing is foreign to me as I have never dated anyone longer than a week or so, since I was like 16.

****ing life.. Sure is fun, eh ? I've never been the type of person to just have "faith" in someone or some thing. I feel like we can really only count on ourselves at the end of the day.

I guess I'll just try keeping this off my mind and enjoying things while I can.

Sometimes a man just needs to vent. It's cool.

I'm really happy right now. I got a girlfriend Thursday. (Important to note that I'm in high school.) This girl told me she likes me last week. Back then, I liked my friend. I told this girl, sorry I like someone else. Tuesday of this past week, I was talking to the girl I liked and she said she knew I liked her. She said she didn't like me back.

I thought, I have a few options. I could sit here, feeling sorry for myself, or have a girlfriend. (It's important to know that I kind of liked the girl who told me she likes me before she told me.) So I told this girl, you said you like me, and I like you. So now we're going out.

We walk to most classes together, we walk out of school together, holding hands the whole time. I'm so happy. Our first date will be this Friday; we'll be seeing Man of Steel (her suggestion.)

Still torn on the name change - I'll probably keep my Twitter name as BrandnIrwin (since not tweeting jerks have my full name and other shorter options) but for OS, XBL and hopefully PS4 (if they allow us to change our name) and other sites in the future, I need to come up with something.

Someone said iBrand, which I like, but it was gone. I could add numbers to it, but I hate it. I could do iBrand1 = which would equal iBrandone. I dunnotoomuch was an option, but I don't know about that.

Someone mentioned BIrwin49, which I have used on other sites, but I hate my last name..

After awhile I just learned in HS to just ask the girl out after a bit of talking, all the games girls play in HS are stupid.

Which in turn worked out for college as I rarely see any of these chicks again if it doesn't work out.

I really have no idea where to go with my life right now. I will be a junior in college when the Fall Semester starts, and I still don't know what I really want to major in. I of course have a passion for sports, and I started out as a Sports Management major. I attended a Career Fair at Turner Field, and my dream job seemed like it wasn't an open opportunity. There were some guys in their 30s there that majored in Sports Management and still had not worked in the sports industry. This honestly broke my spirit of being able to enter the industry.

Now I'm finishing up the last of my general education courses with no direction for the Spring. I've thought of majoring in philosophy or History, but I don't know what types of jobs I could get with those. I honestly just need a new direction or something to get my hopes up about Sports Management again.

Do you have some sort of guidance or advisor to talk to? My cousin is in the same situation, but I just hope all turns out well.

I wish I could find a place, but I can't get into anything with a lease right now. It makes it basically impossible.

Also. I would pay money for HBO Go, right now. We don't have any real movie channels with our TV package so I can't get it. I would love to catch up on some shows I've never been able to watch

So my summer job is essentially as a telemarketer. Trying to get people to renew magazine subscriptions.

Southern people are cranky as hell!!

Whenever a person from the south pops up on my screen I just prepare to get yelled at. I've been there 3 days, so maybe I've just been unlucky with the southern folk, but people from above the Mason Dixon line are generally decent, can't say the same for (most of the) southern people. So far we've been calling Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, and South Carolina from the south.

I've already been told to cram the magazines up my you know what, and a guy told me he would see me in court if we ever called him again
