I love Fifa's UT, if the gameplay is good enough with Live, I may buy it along with 2k solely because EA does a better job with UT than 2k did with myTeam.

I remember when people used to say this thread was too hard to keep up with.

Also it was never 60 posts in an hour fast, so I don't know how they keep up with that one.

Don't worry, in a couple of weeks it will be in the NCAA forum, only 100 times worse with everybody thumping their college fanboyism chest out.......I will avoid that thread like the plague too like I do all Ultimate Team threads.

I was randomly thinking about the first athletes from each sport I knew by name and number as a kid.

The first football players (well professional athletes in general) were: Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, Steve Young and Troy Aikman.

I think baseball was the next sport and that was: John Smoltz, Tom Glavine, David Justice, Ron Gant, Ken Griffey Jr, Tino and Edgar Martinez. I knew all those Braves only because I remember who to hate as my dad destroyed me with the Braves on RBI baseball.

Hockey was next with: Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Patrick Roy and John LeClair.

And basketball was last with: Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, John Stockton, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, and Shawn Kemp.

Football was probably former Steelers QB, Bubby Brister. It's a funny story though (and I feel like I've already told it). Around the time he played for the Steelers my little sister was a toddler and had a blanket she always carried around with her which she called her "bubby". So, whenever my dad or I would mention his name she would get excited and repeat "bubby" in an excited voice.

Baseball was probably Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonilla, or Andy Van Slyke. I actually dressed up as Van Slyke for halloween when I was in 5th grade.

Hockey, probably Lemieux. Another funny story from when I was in 5th grade during the Pens 2nd Stanley Cup run when they ultimately beat the Blackhawks. One day one of my classmates was wearing a Mario Lemieux jersey and during our music class the teacher asked "What's with this Lemieux thing" or something like that while pronouncing "Lemieux" like "Lem-ee-ucks". I don't know if he was really that ignorant of hockey or if he was just messing around, though I don't remember him being one of the teachers who liked to joke around either.

NBA - No idea, but probably Michael Jordan since I came to be a Bulls fan when I was a kid. Though I don't really follow basketball, if I had to choose I'd still say I'm a Bulls fan since they were my favorite team back then.

Also; OS makes me realize that some people think about games and movies on a totally different level than I do. Sometimes I wonder how people's brains allow them to actually enjoy any sort of entertainment when they are being so ridiculously critical and observative of every single little detail about everything.

Football: Deuce Mcallister, Ricky Williams, Jake Delhomme, Michael "The Beerman" Lewis, Joe Montana(my mom had a weird time when she was a 49ers fan to piss off my grandma I think), Kurt Warner(I remember really liking the Greatest Show on Turf some as I liked the TDs, which explains a lot now)

Baseball: Idk I never cared up until 9th or 10th grade, probably Josh Beckett or Miguel Cabrera due to watching the '03 season some.

Basketball: Shaq, Pistol Pete, Michael Jordan
