Just found out that one of my classmates passed away last night.
I hate to speculate, but sadly it's probably drug related. I was pretty close with him in high school. Heck, some of my best HS memories were running around with him, but unlike the rest of us he never really grew up. I feel bad for his family.

That makes 4 out of my 44 classmates that have passed away in the past 10 years. All before the age of 35 too.

We had to move out of the dorms by noon yesterday until August 15th. She leaves on Friday afternoon after I helped pack her things. I was trying to get her to stay until Saturday and leave the same time as I did. She told me that her parents wanted her home for dinner.

Later that night I call her and she is out eating with one of her friends that have caused us to have major fights throughout the year of the relationship. The friend always causes my girlfriend to make a stupid decision that would make us argue. So I tell my girl that she is lying because she told me she had to go home to eat with her parents.

I told her not to do anything stupid because I didn't want to fight while we were apart. She said they were just going to go home and watch movies the rest of the night on netflix. Well yesterday night I was on Instagram and her friend had posted a picture of them two and two guys at a hookah bar together from the night before. This means my girlfriend is hiding something about that night, and I called her out on it.

She said that they were just friends from high school, but the fact that she lied about it really makes me not believe her. I told her that the only way that I could be with her is if she cuts off ties with her friend that makes us fight. Needless to say she called me a dick for putting her in that position and as of right now we are broken up.

This really sucks because I love this girl and we had talked about kids and marriage. I want her, but I don't know what to do. I'm so confused.

Sorry to be crude man but that was pretty wrong of you to put her in that position.

I'm hope and I assume there's more to it than what's in this post because if this is all your basing things off of then you are in the wrong here.


I don't see how anything that happened leads you to believe she cheated on you?

If she was dishonest you have a reason to be upset but still don't see how that would mean she cheated on you.

Hopefully it's just a misunderstanding, and it was a spur of the moment thing that she didn't feel the need to tell you about. Nobody deserves to be lied to by their bf/gf; it's a crappy feeling when it happens.

Sorry for all the bold, I'm just tryin' to really understand this. 95% of the time there are always two sides to every story. I'm not tryin' to be a douche, this is just how I see it.

-she is out eating with one of her friends. Well alright. I know I've been on my way home to eat when a friend called to see if I wanted to grab a bite to eat somewhere. This friend probably doesn't ALWAYS make her do stupid things. When you called her, did you ask her if she was home?

-Maybe I didn't read the instragram/hookah bar thing well enough. If she told you that she was not at home eating with her folks and said she was out with that chick, what is she lying about? And just because she's hanging out with friends from high school that happen to be guys means she's automatically cheating on you?

-I can't blame the girl for calling you that after making her choose between you and her friend. I have friends I like to let loose with and I can't act around my gf like the way I act around them. An ex wanted me to choose between her and a friend once, easy choice for me.

I dunno, either way. Maybe apologize for being so forward. If she is cheating on you, you'll find out. I totally understand why you snapped though. But it's not right to make someone choose between two people they hold dearly, unless this person really is the devil. This girl not like you? Or just general drama?
