At this point you're probably better off just giving up the fight and switching to meth. Just know that if it's blue, someone has been watching too much tv because that's not the color of a more "pure" product.

I'm not sure what made me think of this (maybe my half-asleep state), but what happened to Army football? Back in the day, nobody wanted to see them on their schedule. Now, middle of the road MAC teams schedule them hoping for a winnable contest.

I guess I'm wondering when did Army stop being Army, and become the Army we know today?

          Random question.

For those of you that listen to podcasts, do you have a preferred software on your PC to do it with? I'd like to start listening to them more often on my PC but I don't know of any fancy shmancy stuff. I use either BeyondPod or PocketCasts on my phone/tablet - would be nice to have a software solution something like those on the PC.

TV contracts and the potential to be a multi millionaire is what happened to Army, Navy and Air Force football. Kids for the most part play sports for one reason and one reason only, to make it to the pros and become multi millionaires.

Army-Navy game is the only national televised game they ever get.

Air Force only get a national televised game once a year as well.

Because of that, good players don't want to go to a school that don't get national exposure. I mean lets face it if you want to go to the NFL, you go to the following schools to be pretty much a lock to get drafted:

            Ohio St
            LSU
            Alabama
            Florida St

If you want to go into the NBA you go to:

            Duke
            North Carolina
            Kentucky

What ever the sport you play, you go to the school that is on the national stage the most to increase your odds of making it to the pros. Just the way it is.

Bleh. I hate iTunes on Windows machines. I may have to give it a shot. Everything I've found in articles just says about how good x program is for syncing to your choice of media player.

I wish there was a software piece like pocket cast for PC. That would be fantastic.

Academic standards are Stanford caliber at the academies.

You also have to serve following graduation.

Pair those together and you recruit kids who can learn the option to try and level the playing field.

On top of what others said, these star athletes coming out of high school don't want to go to an academy because they have to complete 2-years of active duty.

Plus, you have the size of player difference between academies and non-academies.

UNC's NBA track record the last few years has been pretty poor.

They're still getting draft though, and that was his point. Since 2005, there's only been two drafts that a North Carolina player wasn't drafted.

This has provided a lot of entertainment over the last half-hour or so. Challenge of the day, get to 12 degrees. Best I've done is ten- from King Kelly to Damian Lillard.
