That's a good question. Seemingly most buddy cop movies revolve around the pairing of two dissimilar characters that come together and eventually "bond." Police Academy seems more like an Animal House, MASH, or Stripes type of movie. I wouldn't count it, but wouldn't exactly rail against its inclusion.

At least not the first two.


I thought The Other Guys was good, but favorite has to go to Hot Fuzz with a nice shout out to Turner and Hooch. I really like my Tom Hanks comedy.

Gotta go OG and say the Lethal Weapon series...Riggs and Murtaugh are the best!

If I have to pick one, that's tough. Probably Lethal Weapon 2.

Go to a salon. If there's two things you shouldn't be a manly man about, it's haircuts and suits. Woman (and gay guys) will tell you straight up what works and what doesn't work as long as you ask for their input.

Rush Hour, 48 Hours, Lethal Weapon, Turner & Hooch and Bad Boys all deserve honorable mentions.

Decision was actually more difficult than I had first thought.
