I can't stand indoor smoking. Everyone doesn't want to inhale that crap. Non-smoking sections don't help either as you can still smell it all over the establishment.

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
B. Illinois passed the same law. Which has been great so far.
I always say that if you're a true smoker, it doesn't matter how cold it is outside, you will still withstand the -20 degree weather just to get your nicotine fix.
I remember going bowling when I was a teenager and coming out and could just smell the smoke from my clothes.. disgusting.
Now the bowling alley's are actually a pleasure to go to.Comment

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
It's not just the smell either, that smoke will affect a person's health. Sitting on one side of a restaurant doesn't keep the smoke out of the non-smoking side. It's actually weird to think of smoking and non-smoking sections because it has been so long since I've seen that division.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Option B for sure. I can't stand cigarettes. Absolutely disgusting. I avoid being near it at all costs. Even more so now that I have a baby.Comment

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
Option B for me though it's a bit of a moot point as the entire province of Ontario has a smoking ban and it's been in force for hm, 10-15 years now? Anyways I detest smoke when i'm in a restaurant and such. I remember a few years ago I was in the US and there was someone smoking near me. It was driving me nuts and I was hacking up the smoke. I kindly told the gentleman to stop smoking and got a dirty look from him.
Needless to say, my family and I cut our layover short and kept driving to our destination.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

The best approach is to tell them, "Put that cigarette out or I'll put it out for you. In your eye."

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
I don't smoke & that's a nasty habit, but I pick C, as I can live with or w/out
smokers.
As an aside, my dad was a smoker up to the day he died & what
I miss most is the smell of his matches when he was lighting one up.Comment

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
A lot of states have. Wikipedia says 28 states have public enclosed space bans.
I have allergies to smoke, so it was an issue growing up. We always had to sit as far away from the smoking section when eating out. I can smell the smoke from across the restaurant once someone started smoking. I love it now that most states I go to have bans. I'm fine with people doing it in their own homes or private places, but out in public I hated it.Comment

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
When I smoked and moved to AZ they enacted the indoor law. It was kind of annoying at first, but then places just made outdoor areas and I'd just go there to smoke at a bar.
I never really smoked at the same time as eating.
Now I've quit, and the smell of smoke is kind of annoying, so I'm glad it's not inside. Kinda funny how it works, but just don't like to tolerate it now.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
I dont care if you smoke indoors as long as I dont have to smell it. My hometown used to have to have separate ventilation to smoke in a restaurant but then they passed a law that banned all smoking inside.MLB: Texas Rangers

Re: Input on indoor smoking needed
I picked C. I recently quit smoking about 2 months ago, so I don't mind the smell at all or being around others who are smoking. And growing up I lived in a family where literally every person besides my dad smoked, so I've gotten used to being around smoke a lot.Comment
