How do you get caught doing this though? Was it his dog? Do you brag about what you're doing? It's a completely atrocious, nasty thing to do, so seems like something you'd keep quiet about...crazy

I'll go one step further and say that I always tie real life events to Family Guy, which is funny because Family Guy always ties a lot of real life things into its show. The tank-stealing thing isn't necessarily one of them that it stole from real life, but that of course reminds me of that one Family Guy moment...

Indonesian woman killed, swallowed whole by python

A 23-foot-long python has swallowed a woman in central Indonesia, a village official said Saturday.

The victim, 54-year-old Wa Tiba, went missing while checking her vegetable garden near her village on Muna island in Southeast Sulawesi province on Thursday evening, according to the village chief, Faris.

On Friday, her family went to look for her at the garden but found only her belongings, including sandals and a flashlight, said Faris, who uses a single name.

The family and villagers launched a search for the woman, and found the snake with a bloated belly about 55 yards from where her belongings were found.

“When they cut open the snake’s belly they found Tiba’s body still intact with all her clothes,” Faris said. “She was swallowed first from her head.”

Videos posted on some websites showed villagers slicing open the python’s carcass to reveal the woman’s body.

Yeah I wouldn't have a garden in an area known to have lots of snakes. The article didn't say what time she went missing, but she had a flashlight with her, so it was probably close to being dark. You don't go out into the wilderness without a gun in areas like that. Animals hunt then.

Cmon man, I'm not saying it NEVER happens, I was going for the Anaconda joke.


To suggest it's what they do isn't fair, it's like suggesting any species with known and documented kills of humans always feast on humans because it's what they do.

I know you qualified your post with the word "primates" to include humans and all, but it's not like humans are a primary food source just because they fit into the primate category

I dont know how accurate it is but I saw where she also had a machete. I wonder if the snake ate that too.

A lot of times the snake ends up dying from overeating and bursts. Or they're too slow and end up killed by something else because they can't hide long enough to digest.
