Weird call-back, but I have always thought slick's comment was so funny and now, as it turns out to the surprise of no one, it has proven 100% spot-on:

Incredible stuff. That’s how we’re living in 2024.

I think this thread might be where I first saw the KIA logo. I don’t know if I would’ve been able to decipher that one when I started seeing them out if I hadn’t known from here.

I was flabbergasted whenever I saw that logo trying to figure out what it said. When I finally found out it said Kia I was like what?!

I think I read somewhere that a top google search at one point was "What is KN car?". LOL. Talk about a total failure of branding!

I feel like this deserves its own thread, but it ALSO very appropriately fits the theme of this one.

Japan just beat USA in football. Yes, THAT kind of football.

This is inexcusable. I do not even know the context but this cannot happen. We cannot lose AMERICAN football games to Japan. It just cannot happen. This is egregious and if I can I will enlist in the ...

I no joke wanted to see if they used sumo wrestlers for linemen, like Fumiko in The Replacements.

Speaking of The Replacements and WTF items, this was one of Gene Hackman's last films, and I'll always remember he retired with the film Welcome to Mooseport with Ray Romano.

But seriously, and I know I've mentioned it before... WTF happened to Brooke Langton after The Replacements? She's kept busy no doubt, but I thought she'd really show up in more than B-movies and make small television appearances. She was absolutely smokin'.

Good for the sport of football . Not so good for the US.

So with dynamic pricing, that means food will be cheaper at certain times....right?

There's no way this will be a thing, unless all these major chains collude and do it together and force people to pay.
Looks like I was right about it. Walmart is now joining in on this.

Pricing changing at any time now raises an interesting and ethical question, what if prices change WHILE you're shopping? You grab an item that's $4.99 and once you cash out its $7.99? You can't be like "when I went there it said 4.99" because there's no physical sticker to verify your claim.

I really hope this backfires because this seems so stupid and you know companies will abuse it like crazy.
