A few months ago I had to have two teeth pulled. My lower right wisdom tooth started getting pushed sideways in the tooth in front of it. It literally bored a hole in it.

It hurt like hell for almost two weeks and that's with vicodin. And now I get numbness in my lower jaw.

Man I was lucky my parents got mine as well as my brother and sisters wisdom teeth out when we were teenagers.

I would hate to go through that ish as an adult, and paying for it as well.

I just cant fathom someone who isn't dirt poor NEVER seeing a dentist until they were an adult.

Unless he's incredibly blessed with hard, less-porous teeth, has had impeccable oral hygiene habits, and has minimized his sugar intake over his life, he's in for quite a scrape-fest.

I say go get it overwith right after New Years. Either you will be remarkably lucky, or you will need work (in which case, the longer you wait, the worse off you will be).

Yeah I already got an appointment set up just to see what I need to get done cause I'm still gonna have to pay out of my own pocket for a some of it. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, but I know for sure i'll need a filling or two.

Dickey, LASIK is a walk in the park compared to intraocular implant surgery. Best of luck to you for a smooth ride!

Yeah we've had a couple of guys on the boat get it. Keesler AFB has a better success rate than civilian places so I'm in good hands. Just nervous when you do something with your eyes.

I think that's an extremely common opinion at this point. I think he's a great prospect, and I'd still probably take him #1, but he's definitely been a disappointment compared to some of the immense hype that was originally put on him.

Yeah, I did it as a teenager as well. My wife's parents did not have her do that, so now she may have to have it done and doesn't want to. I bounced back so fast from it back then, no way I'd be that nice at 33....

Just don't waste the money to be put under. 1. You feel like crap for the rest of the day. 2. It's expensive.

I got all four pulled while just have the area numbed. Two when I was about 14, the other two when I was 20. Was at a football game. It should take less than 10 minutes to get two of them out.

They used demoral (sp?) on me when I had all four out, back when I was 17 or so. Not a full knockout, but I don't recall anything after counting to 7. LOL

Yeah, I've had it for my wisdom teeth and for my first of two eye surgeries.

When that stuff kicks in, they could say "Dan, we're going to pull your stomach out through your left ear, then cut off your arms attach them to your knees." and you're all "Okay.....that sounds greeeeeeaaaaaaat..."
