Re: Uncommon Opinions
Deli meat (sandwich) : Turkey > Ham
- I can't stand ham sandwiches but love turkey.
... But....
Baked/Cooked (Thanksgiving, etc): Ham > Turkey
- I despise turkey at the holidays. I think they taste horrible and the texture is awful. Give me a nice glazed ham.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Turkey is overrated, even when cooked well (turkey wings are delicious, though).Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
For people who like well done steak (yuck) I understand using steak sauce. But I prefer a nice medium steak, very juicy, and if cooked right anything other than the steak itself just ruins it. Plus I'll make some steamed broccoli with it, and theres nothing better than diping broccoli in the natural steak juices. I could eat endless broccoli that way.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
I'm a fan of the medium-rare steak, but ordering it at a restaurant that way has been risky. I got a steak that was pretty much frozen in the middle (at a fancy steak house). I normally just order medium and hope for the best.Chicago Bears

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Yea, if your steak isn't medium rare, you are doing it wrong. Going to a restaurant, I'll get medium rare sometimes, but medium is usually safer, but it seems they tend to go over rather than under most of the time.
