That makes a lot more sense. I probably just took it out of context.

So you're talking about people who hunt and don't use the meat or other resources from the animal ? Like the dudein Ace Venture Pet Detective. I think that's a little much too.

I can't think of a single deer that's been killed by me or my dad where we didn't save and eventually cook the meat.

Keep in mind I'm only talking of hunting for pure sport. If you're hunting to keep the population down or for food, I see nothing wrong. But if you kill an animal for no ****ing reason...I don't like that. Death happens all the time in the wild, but it is necessary death. And I feel it should be the same with humans.

Some parts of California are cool. Don't get me wrong, I hate this state with the every ounce of being in my body... BUT. For families, Disney is an excellent vacation. The redwoods are absolutely beautiful. Hearst Castle is the most amazing thing I have visited/seen with my own two eyes and is without a doubt one of the most amazing/beautiful things in the United States (and I've lived all over them.) Wine country is picturesque and a very relaxing stay.

          As for mine?

Hawaii is boring. (First one the list because you brought it to mind.) It's a nice vacation, but anything longer than a week or two is extremely stupid. I'd never want to live there. Too hot, and there is literally nothing to do except for go to the beach.

A nice segue into my next one. The beach and ocean sucks. When I've lived on both coasts, I've been to the beaches/oceans there. Complete waste of time. Fresh water > salt water any time, any day.

The advances of technology and graphics have brought the gaming industry down as a whole. The focus isn't where it should be (game mechanics and telling a proper story) and we are left with very pretty, shallow games. The easiest way to show this is to compare Final Fantasy 7, 8 and 9 (PSX generation) to FF 10, 12 and 13 (PS2/PS3 generation.) There are a lot of other examples of this that I can give off the top of my head if pressed.

Like stated earlier, I don't care if professional athletes take steroids. I don't agree with what they do to the body (and before someone brings up Chris Benoit, it wasn't a case of steroids with him. That was more of a result of the repeated concussions suffered, and he had the brain of an 80-some year old Alzheimer patient by comparison) but if an athlete chooses to take them I'm okay with it. They are the ones living with the consequences. If the game means that much to them, so be it.

Every young person should serve time in the military.

The NFL2K series heyday were it's DreamCast days. The PS2/XBox releases were too buggy to enjoy.

Futurama isn't funny in the least.

I've honestly never been a pool/beach person in the person, but I think that's because most of the time it involved my family and I had no one my age so I kind of just sat there. Now I like it just to chill with my iPod while I get some sun by the pool, etc.

                I hated Florida.

                I lived there from 1997 to 2005.

It may be different now, and may have something to do with moving and going to a different school every year (except middle school, 5th and 6th), but it just wasn't the place for me.

                  Re: Uncommon Opinions

I've grown to like it, at first I hated it because it was more urban/upscale then I was used to in Louisiana. However once High School hit I liked it more as I started to take advantage of the fact that the Marlins/Cardinals did spring training in my city, the beach with friends, etc.

After growing up in South FL I couldn't imagine living anywhere else, I want to move back down there but I'll probably be stuck around the Tampa area for awhile after graduation. I just like the overall vibe of the state now that i'm older it seems

I don't see the point of autographs from celebs, athletes, etc.

They don't mean anything to me and I've never sought them out. Any time I've crossed paths with a famous person (rarely) I treat them like any other person on the street. Maybe give them a head nod or hand shake.

This is something I forgot to mention. Why do people enjoy going to the beach, sitting there talking or whatever, while getting baked in the sun? Even swimming in the ocean isn't all that great. Salt water in your eyes isn't much fun and after you finish swimming you're covered in ****ing salt. Pool all day any day. Now if there were a Hurricane coming, I'd go to the beach and strap myself to a palm tree in a second.

Don't get me wrong though. The ocean itself is awesome. I don't mind going boating. The ocean also provides great scenery. I work for an Irrigation and Landscape company and we have accounts that are literally on an island(Sanibel and Captiva if anyones heard of it). Driving over the bridge to get there never gets old. The actual act of just going to the beach for no particular reason, though, other than a hangout spot or you're bored etc. is a waste of time to me.

I feel the same way. A handshake and an I admire you or something like that is sufficient.

Like I said, a huge portion of my family hunts and they are all great human beings.. I think not liking to hunt or disapproving is totally different than judging what type of person someone is because they like to hunt animals. Farmers raise animals just to be slaughtered in controlled environments every ****ing day.. I'm sure we're judging those people too while we're eating a delicious hamburger.

Are you saying my post was ignorance or something else ?

Not at all I agree with you that there are uses for hunting that, and those uses can be combined for the sport of it.

                            1. I can listen to the sounds of a water fall all day, everyday. Completely relaxes me.

                            2. During the summer months, I sleep with the fan on high, the sound puts me to sleep.
