Re: Uncommon Opinions
I challenged my dad and son...my son's 6 months lol. We carefully put one ice cube in a cup at bath time and gently poured it on his head. We thought it was funny and he didn't mind (it was warm water, we're not monsters)Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
My uncommon opinions have been unpopular so far, so hopefully I don't strike a chord with this one...
I just don't get the appeal of LLWS for any grown man. I used to like it when I was younger/still playing little league. But now? The quality of play is obviously bad for the most part, and you have a bunch of kids getting treated like they're already pros by broadcasters and playing under more pressure/spotlight then they reasonably should at that age.
It's just an example of ESPN propping up something they wouldn't pay any attention to if they didn't have any money invested into it.Comment

I used to like The Simpsons when I was younger, but now shows like Family Guy, South Park, and Futurama have made it seem boring with how tame it is in comparison.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

LLWS is as American as apple pie.
Seriously though I love watching LLWS games. Would rather watch a random LLWS game over any remaining Red Sox game this season.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
I like the raw emotion the kids display in the LLWS. They just can't hold it back. Excitement, angst, anger. It's on full display.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors.Comment

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
No...college sports involves guys that are 18+ who have more life experience and at least play at somewhat of a high level. LLWS is pretty low level stuff compared to MLB (aluminum bats, smaller field, shorter mound, etc) and the age gap alone makes it laughable to compare LLWS to any college sport.Comment

Uncommon Opinions
So we make a pitbull the mascot of a LLWS team. After that team wins it all, we do the ice bucket challenge on the dog. On ESPN. With a bunch of really tan moms cheering it on.

Do you really want to put a pitbull around a bunch of kids???
Don't you know what pitbulls do to kids?
