I tolerate them. I work and do business with them, network with them, and am generally friendly towards them even if their worldview does not match up to mine. I just think its asinine to gossip and be offended by everything that doesn't fit cleanly into their bubble.

Senior year - dance on the deck (we are a portable school) tonorrow night. We have swing dancing before dark and then modern dancing at night. I strongly prefer swing dancing to modern dancing

Though I think there are a lot of original stuff in Hollywood, I love seeing remakes. Stories are always retold over and over by different story tellers in many generations. I don't see the problem of someone else retelling of a movie in their perspective especially how amazing technology is right now.

I get annoyed when people say that a new movie will ruin the original. Really? The movie wasn't deleted, its still there and if you loved it, you would have a copy of it and most likey in hi def. This also gives a chance for the young generation a reason to check the original if they haven't seen it.

It might be more of the other way around: remakes are retold in such a way where the point of the original is completely missed, and instead of people watching the original, they see the remake only and completely negate what occurred in the original as a result.

Now granted, I like remakes of very old films when the original tried to do something that it couldn't completely capture, especially on a visual front (see King Kong's iterations, etc.), but for the most part I'm okay with them. Though, most horror remakes unfortunately seem to cash in on the fact that it's in name only and does not do justice to the original art. I can't name many good horror remakes, though they definitely do exist.

The bigger issue really are the reboots. I just think Batman is being rebooted too early, but that could be an uncommon opinion of mine. Hulk keeps getting recast, so does Spider-Man. The only thing I fear is we will truly run out of ideas at some point, or this couldn't have waited to be told at a different time. It's just too bad, because things run their course so quickly without being thought out or without giving us some breathing room in between. Too much of a good thing too quickly ends up not being a very good thing.

Onto my opinion, which is probably more common than it is less:

Despite all of the things that can go awry in this world, from deflated footballs to school shootings, the weirdest of the weird that probably doesn't make anybody's lives better as a result of the news and analysis that comes of these sensationalized incidents, I am always drawn to and infatuated by all of it, and can't help but keep either my eyes glued to the screen, my ears tuned into the frequency, or whatever other saying it is for reading articles, posts, and comments about all that makes this world what it is.

If it weren't for this stuff, life would be plenty boring. Every so often I need one of these things to make today feel a bit different from yesterday. They're best when few and far between though, and I always hope I'm not directly affected as a result; furthermore, it obviously always leaves someone hurt when there is something catastrophic in the making. But hey, I can't help but wake up in the middle of the night and turn on the TV to discover if they found the missing plane, or the missing coal miners, or the missing bomber. Developing stories are enticing, and as much as people pine to get off the subject, I can't help but wish we continue to stay on it.

I have no idea if I'm in the minority or majority on this, though. Obviously stations get plenty of viewership and they headline this kind of stuff for a reason, but I don't know if it is a legitimate trade-off given the reason these morasses of tragic and controversial occurrences in the media show up as they do.

We had a whole unit on dancing in PE before Prom when I was in High School. Our gym teacher taught us Swing Dancing, Foxtrot, Two Step, and a few other styles of dance.

To answer your question, no, no one ever really used it.

My parents taught me and my siblings how to 2 step. And basically every party, BBQ, wedding and school dance function people 2 stepped. Might be a cultural thing, but yeah damn near everybody I grew up with knew how 2 step. To this day, BBQ or party going down, people 2 stepping for at least a good hour.

I'm sorry I did not choose my words in a way that would have made more sense. I re-read my post, and now it just sounds stupid. That's not at all in the way I intended it. My only point was that we are drawn to things that occur out of our normal, daily lives, even if they're bad, and we can't explain why. I was merely trying to make sense of it, and I don't think that I can. I just know that life would be more boring if we didn't think anything could possibly happen.

And I think people are too focused on things that involve death. That was just one example. Deflated footballs was another. Bruce Jenner is something else. There are many, anywhere and everywhere. My past post included. I wouldn't have made it if I thought I would be rioted against (though I did expect it to be uncommon). I hope you truly didn't lose all respect for me. That would mean a great deal to me if that's true.

Neil Patrick Harris and Jimmy Fallon are not funny. Fallon had a few moments on SNL years ago, but he's a giggling pile of awfulness on The Tonight Show.. and NPH is a pile of awfulness in general.

I just do not understand what other people find entertaining about those two.
