How weird is it that I totally agree with you about the overrated food? I'll take some squash though

Re: Uncommon Opinions
That's because most people's stuffing/dressing is cookie cutter bull ****. I've had dressing from a lot of places and it always has this weird grainy/lumpy texture to it. It's never good.
My grandmother and aunt both make some ridiculously good Chicken Dressing, which I haven't had in years now.
Deep fried turkey, candid yams, green bean casserole, baked mac n cheese, deviled eggs, fried okra, mashed potatoes, cream corn, potatoe salad, fried green tomatoes, baked beans with brown sugar and bacon, cornbread, etc..
I just can't tie all of that to the word overrated. Traditional for me probably isn't traditional for someone else.....Comment

This year our meal was pretty great. Thank goodness my family has other food besides traditional turkey/stuffing/yam bull****.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Thanksgiving is vastly overrated as a holiday. "Traditional" Thanksgiving food is pretty bad, the main culprit being turkey and stuffing. Outside of family, the only redeeming quality of the day is pecan pie and bad NFL football (redundant, I know).
My ranked list of holidays goes something like this:
1) Mardi Gras
2) Easter
3) Christmas
4) New Years
5) 4th of July
huge, vast gap
6) Thanksgiving
7) Halloween
8) Labor Day
9) Valentine's DayComment

During school days, ones like easter(4 day weekends) I liked alot. Though I always hated Labor day. The "summer is over" holiday.Comment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
1. Christmas (no explanation necessary)
2. Birthday (no explanation necessary)
3. Thanksgiving (unlike some of the blasphemers here, I'm a stuffing connoisseur. Homemade stuffing, PROPER homemade stuffing made 100% entirely from scratch and by hand, not the cookie cutter bull**** you all apparently have at Thanksgiving dinner.)
4. New Years (lots of drinking, horny chicks and football)
5. Halloween (**** ton of candy)Comment

I thought it was odd how he went from #4 results with chicks, but went the candy route on #5 with no mention of the chicks lol. Nothing wrong with candy though, got a large bag of PB M&Ms in the fridge I've been working on for a weekWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Uncommon Opinions
Beats aren't that bad and not everyone buys them as a fashion statement or because it's the cool thing to do.
I've a pair of UrBeats and Power Beats 2 over the past two years and both have been really good to me. They obviously aren't top of the line in comparison to some other brands out there, but sound quality is really good.
I forget they are even Beats most of the time.Comment
