Not so much cringe-worthy, but kinda funny in retrospect. I was the ring bearer at my uncle's wedding when I was 3 or 4. I don't recall any problems during rehearsals of it, but when the big day came they had me walking down the aisle with this flower girl and I thought they were making me marry her. I kept running back to my dad and he was smiling and kept gently cajoling me to go on down the aisle. There's this hilarious photo of me and the flower girl and I have this huge frown on my face. In retrospect, it was probably a nice bit of levity for the adults.

I guarantee people haven't forgotten that moment. It's cute enough to remember, if it stood out at the time haha.
