I also just got these grill toppers for my birthday.

Specifically the Badgers too. I cant wait to try them out.
I got the 1311 & the HD topper.

I used to live in WI for a few years so I became a Badger fan.
I even got a nice blanket to keep my grill warm at night.

And this will last me about 3 weeks in the Summer time.
HD usually has them on sale near Memorial Day & 4th of July.
This trip I bought 8 bags. Thats 160 lbs of charcoal. I shoulda bought 12!

My dad and I both stock up almost every Memorial day/4th of July. We load both of our trucks up each year. Lowe's has the same exact sale each year as well.

Bruh, you're so disrespectful with these pics right now. I've never felt so amateur with the coals in my life.

No its cool, I got it! It made me laugh.

Obviously I love to cook. I am not good with music or drawing and I suck at math. This is my art and I enjoy sharing it.

You got yourself a lot of fancy toys on that grill there.

                    .....

I'm a decent BBQ chef but I'm still fairly new to it. I was trained in a more classical sense. Apprenticeships in country clubs and hotels. Mainly line and banquet settings. Never did much on the grill until I started working for the Chef that was here at the hospital.
Most of grilling is done at home though. I have a nice char griller 50/50 with smoker box. I really like the one you have though but thats one I need to graduate to.

I'll keep my eye on this thread. We'll throw down this spring/summer. I'm known for snappin quick picks of whatever I'm doing and throwin them up here on OS.
I just recently bought some nice accessories at the remate and looking forward to using them this season. Skewer kits, pans, racks, etc...Should be fun.
Here's a link to the grill I have. I think Lowes has it for 249 right now. http://www.chargriller.com/index.php...chk=1&Itemid=1

I also began working at CC's at 15 as a busboy no less, then graduated to line cook, then banquet prep, then chef de partie . All my training has been hands on. I literally have done it all except own, Head and Sous. My most recent experience was Kitchen Mgr at a prominent Family Casual Dining chain. Not allowed to say their name, but is sounds like a kind of "FruitBug".

90% of my cooking now is done at home and about 50% of that is on the grill. I grill about 3-4 times a week, mostly dead cows & pigs, but I'll try anything once.

I love my grill. It is THEE best Ive ever had. Personally, I dont care for Webers or Gas Grills. They are OK in a pinch, but I can do so much more with my BYCP. I literally can Grill, Smoke, Bake, Sautee and Boil.

As I said in another post, I have no handy skills. I cant draw a straight line with a ruler, I cant sing or play an instrument and I cant even build a sandcastle. COOKING is my art and I love to share it with others.

We have a large mediterranean population here and I trained under an Armenian chef for a few years so I'm partial to Lamb and Pork. But I love grilling all meats!

Charcoal; Mesquite, almond wood, applewood, cherrywood. Although my cherry and almond is running low. I get it from my father in law who helps to maintain an orchard or two. I don't use bricketts too much but I have a bag just in case.

Would that hinged fish cooking thing (not sure the name) work on any fish?

I currently have some disposable foil-ish grilling trays I spray down, but the fish still can stick to it sometimes.

Would be nice to find something that lessens the chance of fish getting stuck to some surface....
