Also, just got

for about 70 bones. Book value says it's 150, and there are 2 on eBay for that price and another for about 250. Not complaining. Plus it just gives me more reason to hope that that freak turns out.

Also got a 2012 Bowman Sterling Matt Harvey Gold /50 (no auto, sadly) but paid around book price for it. Spent about 110ish (with shipping and handling costs in that price) for almost $200 worth of cards so I'm happy and it was a good day.

Still debating on which case of cards to pull the trigger on.

I've been picking up a lot of Brewers and Cardinals out of 12 sterling lately.

Just curious, unless I just missed him (which is certainly possible with how big of collection you have!) I didn't see any of Revis. Not a fan or just haven't gotten there yet?

I just picked these up yesterday. Sending them off to PSA as soon as they get here.

Should hopefully be 5's or better!

This will be my first time sending in cards to get graded.

I have 6 or 7 Revis autos in that post...there are not a lot of Revis autos or game used cards with him in his Pitt jersey.

Something about those 1950 cards look off to me. Maybe it's just the picture though.

I'm looking to buy some cards. I used to just buy packs of cards (mainly baseball) at walmart. I never went for anything special just normal cards. I have a **** ton of useless cards. However I do have several jersey, bat, and auto graphed cards but only like 10 total.

I want something that I have a good chance of getting something cool without forking out the money. I'm not a huge collection but I just think it would be cool to try every now and then. Sorry for being a noob

The biggest issue with the Berra is going to be the centering, it is awful.
As for the other two, I couldn't help you there.
I need to get some stuff graded eventually, but I don't have the money for it now, so once I get a job and some money I plan on sending in about 10 cards for grading.

They seemed to match up to other 1950 Bowman's I looked at that were graded, and the seller has a 100% feedback score, so I'm feeling okay with the purchase. Never know I guess...

I noticed that too. The only thing good condition wise about Berra is there are no folds/creases and the corners look very good.

Also, on many, many other Yogi cards from that set, the centering is either just as bad, worse, or only slightly better. So I don't feel like I'm the only guy with this particular card that is off.

It's pretty exciting to wait for these to arrive and then ship them off. It's like gambling twice on the same item.

Did you buy them off of ebay? If they send them back to you saying they are fake you will be able to get your money back most likely by filing a claim.

Right on.

I did get them from eBay. I'd still be pissed though if they wouldn't cover my grading costs at $17 a pop.

But I don't know, I feel pretty good about the deal.

You guys are starting to creep me out a little though!

Can I ask what gives you the impression they aren't legit or are you just saying "what if" in this case?
