Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
Walmart will probably have the $20 blasters, for a short time anyway. But that's a set where I would consider buying a hobby box if possible. 4 rookie autos and 1 relic come in the hobby box. The $20 blasters won't have any guaranteed hits.Comment

Re: Official OS Sports Card Collecting Thread
Instead of buying boxes and packs, I'm just going to look on eBay for what I want. Picked up a few good cards the past couple days. Pictures soon.Comment

See, I'm the opposite. I like the thrill of opening packs. I've only bought a couple of individual cards on ebay. I'm just not interested in collecting individual players for some reason.Comment

I think the feeling of winning a bid is great, but there is always a possibility of losing out on a last second bid which makes me mad.Comment

Really depends. But most are at least $100. Unless you have a card/comic store near you, online really becomes the only options.
Back in Cam's rookie year I pulled his rookie auto from a hobby box from local store. But the rest was a waste.
And for your last post. I don't know him as I don't follow basketball but it looks like a football auto setup. I know for the NFL most card companies are at the rookie events and get the signatures there. I would assume all card companies can't put a fake auto into a pack due to liability. Don't quote me on that but I can't imagine these companies faking these.
And Ryan another way to look at is what is the card numbered. That's how many he had to sit down and autograph in a row. I rarely sign my name, but if I had to do it a bunch in a row (refinance paperwork) it got sloppier and sloppier by the final page.Last edited by Aggies7; 06-29-2014, 03:07 PM.Texas A&M Aggies

I actually looked up his signature and all of them look like that. Minimal effort put in though. LolComment
