Massive amounts of butthurt in there, too. I see things from both sides of the coin here. Normally the best hits should be restricted to the hobby box (or they should just stop making "hobby boxes") but if they want to do this for things like WWE, I'm perfectly cool with that as well.
Speaking of WWE Chrome. I went over to my local card store and the lady who owns it had ordered me a hobby box of WWE Chrome and is letting me just buy packs out of it so I don't have to buy the whole thing at once. It has 2 hits either 2 relics or an auto and a relic and I only could feel one relic in it so I think I might have my first WWE auto! I bought 5 packs including the one with the relic which was a Rey Mysterio Royal Rumble Mat relic. And also in the same pack I got a Darren Young Gold Refractor 23/50.

In the other 4 packs I got a Batista Jerry Lawler painting card, and a few NXT inserts. I figure since I could only feel one relic there has to be an auto in there, or I guess it could be one of those kiss cards now that I think about it.

        My turn for questions.

For those of you that buy recent basketball stuff (or at least follow them)...

Which hobby boxes would you suggest? I'd like to expand my 'collection' a bit and get in on some basketball... but it doesn't seem as cut and dry as the other sports. Panini has like 713 different lines of cards, then Upper Deck has some and probably some others I'm missing.

With Baseball there's pretty much just Bowman. Football, the same.

Upper deck isn't licensed by the NBA any more, so unfortunately, it's just Panini. Upper Deck has the player rights as well, so they use the National Teams uniforms and College.

Wow, didn't even realize that. I hadn't looked into it much at all, thanks.

I'll probably just end up sticking with what I know then in cards (that being the Prizm line, since I've had experience with it before - just in other sports.) Maybe I'll branch out from there... but it seems to be a decent enough jumping off point.

            Appreciate the info.

I only collect cards with players in the their college uniforms. I collect both basketball and football. First and foremost I collect players from the University of Michigan.

I use to collect everything growing up but then about a year after graduating high school I really stopped collecting. I would buy some Michigan cards here and there but that was about it. I`d say about 3 years ago I decided to really get back into collecting. I`m glad I did but it is really addicting. I buy a lot of Michigan singles off of ebay but I love buying hobby boxes from Ebay or dacardworld. There`s nothing like busting opening a hobby box and seeing what you get.

I don't have anything special, have a nice little NFL collection with some college, NBA and NHL.

Just picked this up last weekend.

From Kiko Alonso down is new. The C.J. Spiller card is my second favorite behind the Paul O'Neill card. So beautiful.

honestly, i would suggest you stop before you pour way too much money into this.

I just bough a 1955 Al Kaline. I love this set of cards. I'm going to try to compile a complete set. That will be a long expensive journey.

Yea I'm slowing down now. It would probably be a good idea. Lol

Edit: Most of my cards are from sneaky deals on eBay. It's not like I'm spending $50 a card. That would be outrageous.
