* While in middle school, teachers used to send out these "progress reports" which were definitely a bad thing. They would be an update addressed to your parents either regarding behavior, grades, or both. I always used to go get the mail after school and take any envelopes out that were from the school. I hid these all in a shoebox until one day a teacher was talking to my mom at the grocery store and asked why she never responded to any progress reports... The worst one I have ever received stated "Michael would be an excellent candidate for clown school."

Yeah in Middle School our grades were posted online and it was set up that it would email my mom when they were updated. 7th grade I learned her email password so if I knew the grade was bad I'd go in an delete the email before any damage was caused. Then in 8th grade I just never gave my mom the updated info to check the grades herself.

My 1st summer at FSU there was this chick on the floor our dorm that my friend(also my roommate) was practically in love with and she didn't seem that much interested other then as friends. I hooked up with that chick on the regular and I always made up excuses as to where I was going such as i'm going to get some food, gym, friend's place, to study, etc.

I can totally relate to this. If I knew that I had a D/F letter in the mail, every day I'd go out of my way to get the mail and hide it before my mom saw it.

When I was in 2nd grade I came home from school to find a huge black dog in my yard standing next to our 6 month old golden retriever. I went to pet the dog and it jumped up and bit my face. It was on top of me in a flash and I kicked and punched until it let go.

I ran into my house and looked in a mirror and the dog bit a hole through my cheek about the size of a quarter. My parents rushed me to the hospital and they asked me if I was trying to save the puppy. I didn't really say yes but I didn't say no either.

After surgery a cop came and said that the dog attacked an officer and they shot it. I went home after surgery and that night I started getting calls from family calling me a hero. The next day my parents showed me the paper and I was on the front page " local boy saves puppy".

All through the next day I got phone calls from family and my school. and my parents even took me to the grocery store with huge bandages. A few people recognized me and said I was a hero.

The next day I thought things would go back to normal but that morning the local news station called my mom to interview me. I told my mom I didn't want to talk to anyone but at 5 o clock at night.... There I was on live T.V. The reporter asked me a few questions about how it felt to be a hero and I was in such shock I never moved a muscle or said a word. I was completely motionless during the entire interview on live tv.

Till this day my parents bring up how I saved that puppy.......
