Definitely thought this story was going to have a terrible ending as I read it. Thank baby jesus that it didn't turn out like I expected.
Glad everyone is healthy and happy, man. Real glad. Congrats.Comment

Jesus man, so glad that everything seems to be looking up. Some really scary stuff in that post. I was actually scared to keep reading after she had a seizure because I feared the worst.
Congrats on your new baby boy!Comment

I had the biggest smile at "it had 5 fingers and toes," but then knew some heavier stuff was coming. Awesome that it all worked out. Congratulations!NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Eddie George usually brings a frown too!
Man, just the emotional roller coaster of a birth that goes great can drain you for weeks. I can't imagine how all that hit you. My wife had a c-section also, and after I saw my son was ok, all I was worried about was her. they had to keep her for a little while after due to some side effects from meds.
And it still pales in comparison to that. glad everything worked out.
From one Titans fan to another, congrats and good luck! I'm assuming this is your first. There's nothing out there that compares to fatherhood.EXPERIENCE MAYHEM FOOTBALLComment

Re: Sooo... let me tell you about my last 2 1/2 weeks....
its a horrible feeling watching your wife go through all that stuff isnt it bud??
although our situation was nowhere near as horrible as yours.
My wife was in labor for over a day. Nurses coming in and out of the room. not hearing the babies heart on that monitor some of the time. I couldnt eat. watching them flip my wife on all fours to try and hear a heart beat.
After all that they decide to give her the c section.
Its horrible sitting behind that curtain by your wifes head. Then you hear, "babies out!" and then the cry.
I cant believe i didnt pass out. I was so proud of my wife. She was in labor for so long.
Never want to go through that again.
glad everything went well.Last edited by Splitter77; 04-09-2013, 01:07 PM.Comment
