Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
If they knew as much as we know now and had a suspect directly fleeing and causing this much destruction, they would. You're being obtuse here, dude.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
I saw this guy became a citizen on 9/11 of last year...no way that was a coincidence IMO."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
Other then the bombings, what destruction has he caused since then. 1 death of an MIT Officer (my prayers go to his family). Like I said earlier, small potatoes compared to the gang/drug violence we have every day in this country.Comment

I'd suggest going back and reading through this thread if you're confused.Comment

If that isn't considered under attack, then I don't know what to say.Too Old To Game Club

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
I think it's partly due to the uncertainty of this situation. This guy might have bombs planted all over the city.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
The rampage last night with two car jackings that left 1 officer dead, 10 officers hurt, multiply IEDS exploded on the streets of Boston must have clearly been nothing ...Comment

That is all true. I'd still argue that "under attack" applies to the current situation as residents cannot leave their homes and there remains some possibility of further use of incendiary devices.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
On top of what others just said, they are still finding bombs in the city.--

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
What am I confused about? They killed the MIT officer and that is the only casualty that I am aware of since the bombing. Compare that to the 50 people that die every day in America to homicide.Last edited by FlyingFinn; 04-19-2013, 05:23 PM.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
Apparently there is a photo going around of the dead terrorist. Someone posted it on Facebook. It looks like it's him but who knows. It's graphic though.Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
You guys can't seriously be trying to pretend like this isn't that significant. We shouldn't be here comparing criminal acts. Its easier to talk about some of this when we live so far away and don't have loved ones who have been hurt by these *******s responsible. I just think there's a time and place for comparisons and this isn't it .Comment

Re: Terrorist Attack at the Boston Marathon
Uh dude, just because they ONLY killed one more person, doesn't mean they didn't do anything else. Like others have said, they've injured other officers, set off more explosives, hijacked a car, etc...Comment
