Well I don't really have anything tying me down and haven't left Minnesota, so there's my answer I guess. I will retire back to Michigan. In between if I were to move it would have to be somewhere that has winter with snow. Chicago, Denver, and Madison sound good.

Hawai'i would be first for me.

Second tier would probably be places like Alaska, Colorado, North Carolina or Tennessee. Basically, anywhere you can do stuff outside and isn't overly hot.

I like where I live now, but I'd love to live in Omaha, my hometown. Every time I visit, I think 'this is where I belong.' Once I finish my schooling here, I might look into getting a job there.

Other places I'd consider living: Anywhere in Minnesota that isn't the Twin Cities, Seattle or Portland. I love the midwest and the northwest.

Also, British Columbia, Canada. I know, I know, this thread is about the US, but BC is a beautiful region and I'd seriously consider living there someday.

I've spent a good deal of time in both LV and NY and love both places. SD would be solely for the climate.

Weather plays such a huge role. For example, the weather in Seattle is ideal for me, but pretty much everything else otherwise is not.

im probably the only one in this thread that will say New Jersey, but I love where I live. I am surrounded by 5 or 6 beach towns all within an hours drive, the closest being 5 minutes. Also within an hours drive of Philly, 2 hours outside of NY. 15 minutes from great night life in AC. Good diverse weather scale. we (usually) never get any natural disasters, with of course the exemption of this year. But I enjoy it.

I've lived in Rochester, NY my entire life (besides college in Syracuse).

When I graduate, I'm hoping to eventually end up somewhere around Chicago or Boston, but we'll see.
