I like to live where there's not a lot of people. So where I live in NC is perfect. Only thing that sucks about NC is all the damn taxes. But I always say if I win the lottery I'd move out in the middle of no where in North Dakota. Texas probably wouldn't be bad either. I wouldn't want to live at the beach or mountains becuase if I did where would I go for vacations.Battle.net: xXKING08Xx

However when I was in Seattle, I rarely went anywhere on vacation because I loved it there so much. I'd occasionally fly or drive down to Northern California to visit my folks, but after two days I couldn't wait to go back to Seattle again. NOT because of my folks, who are awesome...I'm just very connected to the Seattle area.GO 'HAWKS!

I used to think Hawaii but have a good friend who was born and raised there, and he couldn't wait to get out. He said it's great for tourists but to actually live there is another matter entirely. I also have another buddy who loved to visit the island, but he was ready to leave a few months after the Navy stationed him there.
I think Montana would be pretty awesome. I prefer country living with a lot of outdoor activity... I don't think I could ever leave Washington, though... It is a great state. Seattle is a phenomenal city, but I could personally never live there. Too cloudy/rainy and too much traffic. I love the eastern side of the state. Plus, Seattle is ridiculously expensive.
I like Syracuse, NY, it's a pretty good place minus the winters. Every place has it's downfalls so it's hard to choose when I have never been but I'll throw three out:

San Diego

When I said Hawai'i I should have been more specific. I meant Maui not Oahu. From my trips brief trips there the two are night and day. Oahu is more city like while Maui was much more laid back and relaxed. Although, I'm sure Maui has it's busy times too, but there's now way it would be on the same level of Oahu. From my experience the traffic and locals in Oahu just aren't really my cup if tea.

I lived in Hawaii for three years and I concur, besides the obvious perks(the weather, parks, gorgeous women, etc) the traffic is on par with NYC, you do get sick of perfect weather, and it's incredibly expensive.

When I visited my uncle in New Bedford, MA, Boston just had a great feel to it and I have a lot of uncles and aunts that live in the area that I don't really get to see living in Upstate NY, so that would be a huge plus. But yeah, I want to live in a bigger city, but NYC is too big for me I think. I think I'd get sick of it after a couple of months.NFL: Bills

I've lived in North-Eastern NJ for my entire life.
I've narrowed down where I would spend the rest of my life down to 4 places.
1. NE NJ, as now.
2. Dallas/Ft Worth
3. Orlando/Kissimmee
4. SeattleComment

I've only ever lived in Iowa and, quite frankly, after 20 years here... I'm sick of it.MLB: Minnesota Twins

Re: If you could live in any of the 50 U.S. states
I'm already going back home this fall so Louisiana is out but outside of Louisiana, it would definitely be Hawaii. Aside from the obvious fact that it's Hawaii, my mom's side of the family is there and I always have fun with them when I'm there.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I was born and raised in the state of Virginia and I love it and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
If I had to live somewhere else, maybe the San Francisco or Monterey, CA area of Cali. Visited there in 2011 and loved it. The Pacific Northwest is a part of the country that really interests me.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Re: If you could live in any of the 50 U.S. states
If money were no issue, I'd move back to Minneapolis, MN for summer and live in SoCal for winters. My whole life (friends, family, etc.) is back in MN, but after 15 years of winter, I'm happy if I never see another snow flake in life.
I'd always have to live in a major city. I couldn't deal with social isolation.NFL - Vikings
