Re: Name That Videogame
My console lineage went like this:
SNES
NES (story involved)
N64
PSone
Xbox
PS2
360
PS3
Somewhere around the Xbox I got a PC, and I didn't come into video game buying power really till the 360 as I owned all of like 6 or 7 games on the N64, and three were football games.Comment

Re: Name That Videogame
I just must not have played this one...I'm almost 33, so grew up on Intellivision, Atari 2600, and PC's from then on (until NES and whatnot).
Maybe I was a little young for this kind of strategy game? I dunno...without the internet it was a lot harder to hear about tons of games compared to now.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Name That Videogame
Gotcha. Well, I normally try to avoid answering when I'm on my phone because I hate answering and not sending a picture. Too much of a pain for me to do (formatting posts on virtual keyboards suck.)
Since it seems like this one has people stumped, I'll go ahead: The game is Starflight - originally released on computer systems sometime in the mid-to-late 80s. It's actually kind of a big deal in the big picture of gaming.badComment

Re: Name That Videogame
If you haven't played Starflight, you should. I would suggest the Genesis version. Sandbox space exploration, RPG-like upgrading of ship and crew, dealing with alien encounters. Mass Effect borrowed A LOT from Starflight, but Starflight is the better game IMO.Last edited by Burns11; 05-30-2013, 04:42 PM.Comment
