Ortho Home Defense works very well for the creepy crawlies around our parts, and our house is backed up to some woods.

If you want to zero in on some ants though, Terro ant bait/killer works wonders. Usually can find it at Lowe's or Home Depot, little plastic packs, and the the Terro is like a clear thick syrup. Just cut one open and set it near a trail and they will LINE UP for that stuff, eat it up for a couple of days, then the ants go away. They eat it and it contaminates the colony and kills the queen.

I'd scream like a girl if I saw a scorpion in the house.

Has anyone ever seen a house centipede? My wife completely freaked when she saw one on our stairs late at night. It was about 2 1/2 inches long with lots of spider-like legs and it was extremely fast.

I was going to kill it but I read that it kills all other bugs in your house. Some people even let them be and they treat it like a bug hitman. Out of respect I released this monster into the wild.

I always kill the suckers. I don't get them here thankfully, but I'd see one or so a week in the summer back in Ohio. I just don't like bugs period.

We always know when we have one because one of our cats will want to f that scorpion's ish up. We have to stop her so she doesn't get stung, but if we pull her away she runs right back to it wanting to paw it and tease it.

We're not sure, we think our kitten got bitten by a bug (or stung by a scorpion) because he had a nasty fat lip we had to get checked out by the vet. Thankfully that's clearing up, but this is why we're having the exterminator come out soon.

The kitten's just stupid, whereas our older cat knows how to handle herself better, so I don't think she gets caught by the bugs ever.

Unless they get in the way, crawl on me, in my bedroom, etc I let them live. They do hunt spiders, so with them and Ortho Home Defense, I usually don't see any spiders inside.

When I lived in Florida and we would get a fire ant mound pop up on our property, we used this:

Worked like a charm every time.

Sorry guys. I've lived in the upper mid west for 30 years and I've never seen anything close to this (inside or outside my house).

I took a few videos of it if you want to see them.

Seriously. I would freak if I ever saw one.

Saw them all the time in my parent's house in SW Minnesota. Have only seen a handful of them in the 11 years I've lived here.

I've got a lot of these here.
