If I put my mind to it, I can fart so loud it wakes everyone up in the house. True story though, I farted on my roomates door one night, and it echoed through the house, and woke him up, he was scared lmao.

Re: What's the closest thing you have to a "super power"
I would say I'm more normal than anything. I can't think of something that would qualify as "close to super powers". I'd say by two biggest assets are my intelligence and my ability to adapt/learn new things. I'm not book smart by any means, but I'm common sense smart. I also have confidence in doing just about anything out there. There's nothing that I don't think I can't do unless it requires some sort of physical trait/athleticism that I may not have.Indianapolis Colts

The stuff they use to numb you for dental procedures like fillings and stuff does not work on me. I don't get numb, they have to send me to a specialist who drills down into my jaw bone to administer a deaden agent to the bone.
Yeaaaaaa not so much a good thingComment

Re: What's the closest thing you have to a "super power"
Sometimes I get "premonitions" about what will happen in the future. Normally small stuff that is inconsequential, and I can't determine when I get the feelings. Like I'll have a feeling there will be a cop watching for speeders around the next corner. But its not a guess, I know for certain. Another one I remember was walking around an amusement park with my wife and knowing that no matter what game she wanted me to play, I was going to win it. So we played ring toss and I won a big ole stuffed teddy bear on the last ring. But when it happens, it seems like deja vu to me.
Difficult to explain, but the closest to a superpower I have. Only wished it worked for Powerball!Comment

My memory. It's most noticeable when it comes to sports. You can pick a day in the last 4 or 5 years and I can tell you a sporting event from that day.Twitter

Re: What's the closest thing you have to a "super power"
Those without superpowers always mock those that have them.
I know it sounds weird, but it got to the point where I'd say something randomly like calling home runs in baseball games or touchdowns in football games and my wife knew it was gonna happen. Like deja vu, like I had already seen it before.
...and I knew that was going to be your responseComment

Long term memory most likely, ask me anything about my life and such from 20+ years ago and I'll remember it clear as a bell but I couldn't tell you what I did last week!Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Then I have those "inconsequential" moments, like predicting what song will come up next on shuffle or something.

Re: What's the closest thing you have to a "super power"
I have an extremely high tolerance for alcohol and drugs used for sedation. I have been on the operating table with the doctor telling me he gave me enough to put a horse out, and I remember one procedure which didn't go well because they couldn't get me to sleep.
I also seem to have the mutant ability to fry electronics.
Plus, I am uncannily accident prone. I just began mowing yards for my brother's lawn service and have been injured many times, the latest being the ramps falling off the back of the trailer as I was backing out a big riding mower. It rolled over on top of me and roughed me up a bit. Great super power to have. More like super dunce. Yet I was a good athlete in high school, so I don't get it.
My greatest super power is the ability to forgive almost instantly and be nice to people who have done bad things to me. Also, animals love me. We go to yards where my brother says a dog isn't friendly and they come up to me and let me pet them, and every cat my wife brings home likes me more than anyone in the house.Comment
