I'm way too shallow to date a bigger woman. Even if we clicked on an emotional and intellectual level, I'd be far too embarrassed to be seen with her in public or bring her around friends.

Don't get me wrong, I like my women to have shape to em. But you can't have rolls or anything like that. I also can't mess with skinny women with no *** either. So fat chicks aren't the only group I discriminate against. Only different being I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen being in the company of a skinny lady.

I guess it's wrong to feel that way, but I'm just being honest. I like what I like.

There is a limit, though... I don't mind meat on the bone, but I don't want the whole slaughterhouse.... I used to work with this dude back in NY (ironically I was thinking about him earlier since tomorrow is 9-11 and one of my memories of that day was him frantically trying to locate his estranged wife since she worked at WTC) who loved, I mean LOVED, big girls. I mean, big girls that make Precious look like Paris Hilton. One day he was chatting up one of his broads on Yahoo messenger, and I hear him in his cube giggling like a banshee. He calls over my man G, ostensibly to view the pics that ol girl was sending him. I can see G from my cube looking decidedly unimpressed, but forcing a tired smile to humor the brotha. As G departs, he passes by my cube and tells me, "yo, Morgan is gonna call you to check out this new broad he's spittin at". Eventually the call comes. I go over to the cube, and as I expected, I am treated to a very large light skinned woman in what I think was supposed to be lingerie. She was in various forms of undress, trying to be seductive. There was some kind of order to the pics. One, the left bra strap would be hanging down (nothing showing), then the next, the right bra strap would be down. Then, somewhere in the middle, with no warning whatsoever, the next pic was her in all her glory on the bed, nothing left to the imagination ... Morgan was celebratory; he could not contain himself. He was like Meanwhile I immediately had a sharp pain in my stomach, and the gyro I had eaten for lunch from the food truck on the corner of 55th and 6th was threatening to make a reappearance.

I used to date someone that was a little on the bigger side. Probably around 5'2 or 3 and 130 lbs or so. I was still very attracted to her because our personalities just matched really well for a long time.

My current girlfriend (some of the posters here have seen pictures of us in the Most Wanted thread) is smaller, but she isn't as skinny as the girls my brother likes to date. He's probably never dated a girl over 105 lbs.

It's probably pretty rare, but I almost always notice someone's personality before I notice if they're physically attractive or not, and I don't really have a physical type like a lot of other people do. I've dated/been interested in girls of pretty much all types.

How in the world can you notice a girl's personality before noticing her appearance?

Only way I can think of is talking to someone online who doesn't show a pic before you meet her (something that did not go well for me, as referenced earlier in the thread).

Idk lol. Maybe that wasn't the best word choice. I'm just not really physically attracted to someone until I actually talk to them and get a vibe of their personality.

For example, neither of my past two girlfriends were people that I immediately found attractive. But when I talked to them and got an idea of their personality, then I became attracted to them.

And it basically works like that for any girl I meet.
