It seems like you made this thread because you're seeking approval to go out with this chick. There are plenty of skinny guys with bigger women. One thing if you think you may be embarrased to be seen in public with this woman do both yourselves a favor and do not date her. Only when you can own up to the decision and tell someone "Yeah that's my girlfriend" that's when I think you'll know.

My cousin likes big girls. Like every girl he goes out with always comes with a pitch, like "she a little thick...but she does my laundry and cooks me dinner." Im more of a personality guy but super big girls arent for me. I went out with a big-ish chick (she was a hockey player actually) in college but she turned out to be a psycho... Anyway big girls are def more fun and willing to do way more.

Skinny chicks can be dull as a board. Its like some of them never had to develop a personality in their lives.

Most fun I've had was with an athletic chick. Big girls are fun, but my concern has always been endurance. Sometimes I like to sprint and slow down to a jog and then sprint a mile. Big girls can't keep up and I don't want to end up in a pool of sweat.

I'm most comfortable with partners around my size or slightly smaller. Curves are definitely nice, but if she doesn't know how to utilize them properly and get that kinetic movement going then that's a major bummer.

I used to date someone that was a little on the bigger side. Probably around 5'2 or 3 and 130 lbs or so. I was still very attracted to her because our personalities just matched really well for a long time.

Yeah, I mean, she wasnt fat by any means, especially when she started getting into a workout routine. But my family considered her bigger, probably because of the girls my brother used to date/the fact that I'm like 5'9 140.

Edit: also, this was in high school. I feel like it's different in high school versus when you start hitting your late 20s and up when it seems like people just naturally put on some more weight.

Never dated a bigger girl myself, but I hooked up with one in college. Big girl with a pretty face is dangerous when you've been drinking. She held her weight well, but she was by far the biggest girl I've had more than a conversation with.

I'm currently dating a girl who's bigger than me. Although, as some of you may know, I'm a pretty skinny dude. I'm 5'11'' yet only weigh 130 lbs. Personally with my girl (who weighs probably 20-30 pounds more than I do) it hasn't ever been a big problem for me or for her. Weight typically isn't a deciding factor for me, if I'm physically attracted to her and our personalities match up...we're good to go.

But I will qualify that statement by saying I have dated a girl who was significantly heavier than myself (80+ pounds) and while I wasn't embarrassed about it, and didn't hesitate to date her because of it...there was some awkwardness between the two of us personally because of that size difference. It did lead to us breaking up, but that was more because my weight made her feel insecure about her own weight...but there's not much I can do about that.

My advice is simply to follow your gut Psych. We've talked before in some madden leagues and you seem to be a pretty good guy, basically this comes down to if you can get past the weight thing or not. If you can't, it may be better to preserve the friendship and not hurt anyone. If you can get past it, I'd say go for it. Weight comes and goes (mainly comes haha) but the personality and intellectual qualities people have are what stays. So if there's a match there, and you're attracted to her...go for it.

I'm glad I could help, I've definitely been watching this thread with some interest and finally decided to chime in.

As for myself, I've been alright...busy as hell haha. Haven't had enough playstation time recently with me moving, school starting, and work dominating the rest of my life.
